Any moment now. That's got to love my blue. I Love Ya. Gott to find who I am as a person and I will never turn my back on Scott. Looking back, I have no regrets. You should never wait to play. We don't play. It's time to have a bit of a Skank and I think that I will in fact Skank h ready. Can suggs, you anything to the scar show with beef on every is FM. Thank you. She came in through the window like a summer twist, because I thought I to a place, to a mutation, sweaty palm, with little conversation. Lift your hand in my heart like a sweeten the doc the need, but I thought I us her back with the smile. Such a revelation. I knew she'd I'll be reached my final destination. Lift your hand better. My soul hikes take to a place. Now you lock the door. Lost Myself. You want me back. I started a relution and realize that I did the wall. Dream the dream, and unlock the door. He's my tears down the drain like a thousand picture. If you hang on tight, I'm sure you'll never miss. A backstreet poet and a teacher of the oldest profession in the city of one. It's Sunday night in Melbourne and...

...that can only mean one thing. Yes, it's time for the lucky number albums scar show with beefy. It's my third scalpard of the week and I hope you've had an absolute blinder. This is going to be a little bit of a Cherry on top of a great, Great Week of music. Hope you're all staying safe and doing the right thing. They get ready for a little hour of some of the best car tunes from all over the planet. This is the show where I pick ten scare albums at random. I do try and cover the whole Globe and this, the fourth edition of this type of show, is no different. This is the show where I roll the donce and whatever number comes up, I play that number track off each of the ten albums that are being selected, and this could result in absolutely anything. Are All the dice and up came a six. So each tune you'll here is track number six off each of the album's. We kicked off to day show with a band Adam Melbourne, called no nonsense. We'd be enough, even though they formed in one thousand nine hundred and eighty. There around for about six years before breaking up, but wearly enough. Their only album release was back in two thousand and seventeen, an album called urban myth. The voice sporadically get back together to play live shows, and they do put on some great live shows, and I'll be good to see those boys out and about on the scene when we can get back to normal. Track number six was called roller coaster. The boys put out a color of VP's in the S, followed by a single which, to be honest, didn't do very well, and then the boys disbanded. In about one thousand nine hundred and eighty six. From Melbourne we're going to head over to grand rapids, Michigan and the band that headline scan nation this year, just before covid hit. Yet we managed to squeeze in a tour Chin and a pout. A week later the world went to ruin. Is it connected? A bloody hope not. The band accord must have plug I'M gonna go back to their break through album in one thousand nine hundred and ninety seven. It was called evil doers beware. It was their first on hopeless records, and track number six is called Gott straight I dead white. I don't Cook with my n dropped...

...behind closed doors. Of the called little wrong was sinking in scene for the lines of last night, the lazy last nine. So that is an absolute...

...cracker out of witness. In the North West of England they're called Zen Baseball Bat. They've only really done two albums, two of the greatest named albums in the history of music. Their last release was called for refund insert baby way back in two thousand and four. The track I played was called tide marks and dispensers off their two thousand effort. I am the champion concrete mixer and it is an absolute top listen. Both of those releases are on moon scar records in the UK and they went into hibernation for quite a while. But they have turned up in two thousand and twenty with new music. Oh Yeah, back in the studio releasing singles. We've played a few on the sky show with a beefy already. Great to see these guys. I managed to catch him live in Norwich in two thousand and four when I was over there. What about what a live act they were. Before Zen baseball bat we heard mustard plug, the headliners of the two thousand and twenty scour nation tour of Australia. Those guys are out of grand rapids Michigan. They were formed in one thousand nine hundred and ninety one. They've done seven studio albums. I chose evil doers be we're basically their breakthrough album from one thousand nine hundred and ninety seven. A big shoutout today cursed guessner and the rest of the boys, and I hope their memories of Australia are pretty strong because, like I said, it's all gone a bit crazy since then. Hope you doing well, boys and we hope to see you back in Australia sooner rather than later. Ye're listening to the lucky number scar show with me, beefy, the show where I grabbed ten albums. I roller dice and I'll play that number track off each other ten albums. We're gonna go across the ditch to New Zealand. Now. This is a band that have been around since one thousand nine hundred and eighty nine. They basically did an apprenticeship of about twenty five years before splitting up, but they have been putting themselves back together again and doing shows every now and again. They're called the managers. They're out of Auckland in New Zealand. They release an album in two thousand and three called special. We're going to hear trek number six, course we are. Every song on this show is trek number six. It is called out of breath. These guys got the managers. They're out of Auckland, New Zealand. Got My Dick on my Dick Goda. God, things come in small packets. The lesser see of you, the more I won't. I rebel my kids hacking the Cupid, stupid. So that's I can covering to a T. cat must in on your racket, since if I start taking fence heating your kid, you Canna hack it. We're going nowhere on the fence. So tell me what you think. Don't leave me into spend. Music's gone. Lost that song. You don't see. It's go to something's...

...wrong. Left the too long and both friend out of so what's so wrong? We left it too long. You don't say it's got to be something. Let the two long both gn out. See The music's gone. I lost a song. You don't say, let's go to something's wrong. Let the too long friend out of what's so wrong? Let the too long. You don't say it's gone something wrong. The left too long and out of breath you have take up edge. They cop in a trash in it all the week. You selsky will go by. Yeah, fills my Norvieno sailors sky, while by y'All don my Norvie, my nor no sistants, while you go by y'all. My norvio Sitsky. I know I don't do my Dolph. The more work. Why go by SOME PEOPLE'S B no, no,...

I said sky and I see us and I say no and I see us. And of Montreal in Canada, those guys are called the kingpins. One oneteen ninety eight. Let's go to work. That track was now a French isn't great man on Vil Dancai LASCA. I think that means man on let's dance to Ska. Well, let's dance the sky. Possibly, I don't really know. I should have looked it up. They were around from one thousand nine hundred and ninety four to two thousand and four for splitting up. Let's go to work was their second album put them on the scar scene for good. I did hear a while ago that the kingpins were looking to get back together to some special recording or some special live show. So hopefully that is still in the works. Before the kingpins we went to Auckland, New Zealand. The managers off their to thousand and three special album that was called out of breath. From Auckland to Montreal to Amsterdam. One of the leaders in the scar explosion years. These guys are a Dutch band on an English label, Mr Review, formed by roll ording and Anna Visa. Their debut album for a Dutch bom was called Walking Down Brentford Road and obviously Brentford Road was where the legendary studio one recording studio was in Jamaica. This was from one thousand nine hundred eighty nine. The band were around from one thousand nineteen eighty three. They did split up in one thousand nine hundred and ninety eight, but they've been back since two thousand and thirteen. They've done six studio albums but, like I said, we're going back to their debut walking down Brentford road from one thousand nineteen eighty nine. Tract number six is called chasing and out and it's getting out. So now it's getting out of what's a road, Main Street, right, and it's getting out of it. Now. It's getting out. I had a wife that, Julie, and...

...it's get out. Now, it's getting out of you got the answer. Now a praying about it. You got to feel right now, control so you can cry about it, the tears that help he inside. I know you lost your mind. Now and tell yourself control, you time, you time. Hey, no, it's not. The Wonderful Goldfinger from Los Angeles, California, the self titled the Album From One thousand nine hundred and ninety...

...six, track number secret is called anxiety, and what a hit they've been during isolation, releasing some great isolated videos. I think it's safe to say that John Felburn and the boys inspired a whole lot of these isolation videos and they did it very, very well, and a lot of acts followed suits with what they were doing, and they have absolutely torn the house down for on in one thousand nine hundred and ninety four, they basically stopped recording in the mid two thousands. They're still out there playing and they've added Mike Herrera from mxpx and they are absolutely rocking it. Managed to get to see them in Melbourne last year. There was a support egg for Melancolin and blue. The place the where they were brilliant. I can't wait to see Goldfinger come back and play some live shows, because they absolutely tore the place up. It was awesome. Big breakthrough was when they put out Supermann and it was part of the Tony Hart Pro Skater game. That was off hangups and probably their biggest commercial success to date. Before Golfinger, we heard Mr Review out of Amsterdamn a band that formed in one thousand nine hundred and eighty three, role ordering and Anna Vissa. I chose walking down Brentford road their debut album from one thousand nine hundred and eighty nine and we heard chasing. You are listening to the lucky number album. Scar show would be fore the weekend addition where we get ten random score and scal punk albums. We roll a dice. Whatever number comes up, we play that number track off each of the album's this is only the fourth show I've done like this. If you have a suggestion for any album, please jump on the face of patients look up the scar show would be for. You'll get me through twitter at beefy scar show. Send me suggestions. I've loved to have this show driven by you guys because at the end of the day, it is you guys the count and the less work I have to do, the better it will be. There are three scar pards every week off the back of the live show that I do in Melbourne on a Tuesday night. The first scar pard comes out on a Wednesday's the first hour of the live show and the second scar part is generally on a Friday, which is the second hour of the live show, or is a little bit different. It's a lot more varied in what I include in the playlist. There is all sorts of genres focused around scar so I do a bit of Punk Rock, there's a bit of dub in there. There's always the world famous cover section. So we have a lot of fun with the second hour. It's just very, very a different which is proven to be an absolute winner with all you guys out there. I do want to thank everyone. We have just hit one thousand lights on the facebook page and I couldn't have done it without you guys, every band from all over the world that has been involved. I really, really do thank you for your help in sharing and promoting what I have managed to conjure up over the past three years. I really, really do appreciate it. If you are in a band and I haven't played your music, please get in touch of me, send me your new releases, send me some tracks you want me to play. I will get them on the show in one way or another. If you're recommending your own album to be involved in the lucky number album sky show with beefy, then feel free to do that too. Right. Let's get back to the show. I'm going to go up to Brisbane right now a band that I kind of fell in love with when I first came to Australia way back in the mid S. unbelievably, I actually ended up playing in their cricket team. Yet there is a band's cricket league up in Brisbane. I hope it's still going. I haven't kept in touch with too many people up there, and we had a lot of fun playing cricket with all the other bands. It was a great distraction to Sunday afternoh's and especially after bands were doing late shows on set their nights. Some of the scenes were pretty unforgettable. This band no longer played together, but I am very, very desperate to get him back together to do a reunion show or four. I was very close last year, but unfortunately one of their members was away on business and couldn't make the dates. I will keep trying. They're called a wise acre. There really only full length album was called step up. They're releasing two days and six, a massive share eut to Jimmy, Tim Greg, Cam Yo Hannah. Track number six is my only getaway when you are you are being from the trees. You are right,...

...my lighter word, sight, my last when you waste the bull out of thanks. Wow, go on, Joe, it wasn't the great who wasn't? Not to make him smile, just to play in the sun shine. Gel though, we talk, even listen with the days would and you're still my friend. Of the phrase in the last for ever. It'll always be true for you and I. Where did you go together? I for say, hold and the sky brings gold. You once again led away by the hand. I return on the Shell. I screw to be heard. You thought of the Earth. I felt so well. Wow, where did you go? Where did you go? Tell you about my best she's simply thinks these things. The happy snack new me because she said starting gave a Lever River. Me Tell you about my past. She's a day's guns happy.

She's the most. Gave me so happy that I will sweating, so happy that I will swear you're the happy man. You never ever be your I. I love him. I love him a lot. Death of guitar pop top Cat and Silky from Essex in England, just north of London. They are putting out some great stuff, totally diy. Their debut album was called sixty nine candy street. They're releasing two thousand and seventeen. That track, track number six, was called Song about my bird. They have a great saying. They've done two albums to date. The second album was called in over our heads. And here's some news for you. They are just starting crowdfunding for album number three. It's already called packer sounds. If you can support this totally diy band, please jump on their facebook page show your support, help the boys out, because they are the future of scary. I absolutely love what they do and I will get to see him live one day. Hope. Well, perhaps I'll bring him out to Australia. You never know. Before death of Guitar Pup. You heard a wise Acre air of Brisbane in Queensland in Australia. That was all step up from two thousand and six step track was scored my only get away. If you can check out make those bodies sing, which was their debut album. It's an absolute belter.

Right. We've rapidly come to the end of the lucky number album scar show with beefy, your weekend edition of the second best scars show on the planet. Please check out our facebook pace the scar show with beefy and through twitter at beefy scar show. I don't bother with inst the game at the minute is getting a bit too much to do a live show and three scar pods a week, plus quite a bit of other media I'm involved in. Give the facebook page a big lick. We are over the thousand likes, which I'm truly appreciative of. If you're in a band, please send me your music. I will listen to every submission through and I will try and get it on the show. If you want a request or just want to shore date or you've got a recommendation for the lucky number album scar show and get in touch, I will do my absolute best to honor your wishes. I'll be back on Tuesday with the live show. I do hope you're all well and staying safe and doing the right thing. Obviously, if you're in Melbourne, you got to stay and home because we are in lockdown for another five weeks. Normally I preached the virtue of getting out and supporting your local live music scene and but I know that it's been pretty slow to get back up and runnings and I am seeing as a few gigs being advertised. So when we can get out and about again, the first thing we need to do is get out and see a live band. If you can't see a live band, please continue to support your favorite bands through buying their music or buying some merch or just checking them a few quid through their bank and pages. I reckon they would really, really appreciate it. Right now, I most bands are their income cut by over ninety percent. It is a real tough time for everyone. I'm going to finish this addition of the lucky number album scar show would befe off with a band, as I kind of always do, from Jamaica, the birthplace of scare. These guys were essentially Lee Scratch Perry's house band then a huge hit in the UK. Got To number five in the UK chairs with return of Janango, and I'm gonna go to that album. Return of Django from one thousand nine hundred and sixty nine. They're around from a back one thousand nine hundred and sixty seven right up until when Lee Scratch Perry's record label cease to exist in the late probably one thousand nine hundred and seventy nine. I was called Black Ark Records. They were called the upsetters and they had a bit of a revolving door of artists, essentially whatever musicians were recording music in the studio's at the time. Lee Perry just basic gone together and they recorded music. It was as simple as that. It's very difficult to work out how many albums actually put out. It does vary in numbers from ten to twenty two, but they proved a very, very successful act for Lee Scratch Perry. We always go back to our Jamaican roots on this show and I am pleased that we can include the upsetters. Track number six off return of Django is called night doctor. I will be back next week. This has been the lucky number album. Scar show with beefy. STAY SAFE, everybody. Hey there beefy. Hey Rob,...

...do you have nothing to do all the time? Yes, I've got nothing to do all the time, rob. Well, guess what, I've found something that you can do with your nothing time. What's that? Rob?
