If you're in Australia, good afternoon, if in the UK, good morning, if you're in the US OF A and if you're in New Zealand, what the Hell Are you doing? Is probably three in the morning there anyway. Talking about New Zealand, that last tune was from Wellington's dime store skanks. That was ladies GASCAR. They've just announced a GIG, unbelievably, at Valhalla in Wellington. We're going to be playing on August of twenty eight, with murder cord and departure party. So we're good to see the old dime store skanks being active again. It's good. We haven't had anything new from them for quite a while. The live set this week was from Orange County, Californa. I A half past to one of these sky show would be feast favorites. What are we here? Mastering karate, lying eyes and girl in a band. What News we have out of half past two? Yeah, they got a new epate something blue, and their members have been taken pat quite a few of the isolation projects going on all around the place. So we're yeah, I love half past two. They are top notch. We played their cover of the Beatles I will recently. That was there lay sing off that new something blue EP. We kick this week show off where the band from Adelaide there called the isolators. That is their latest release is called please don't leave me. And as soon as I heard that they're the little melodic riff that undercuts that song drove me insane for better day. So I had to ask my friends in the sky community what it is and they have borrowed it from seceeal. Yeah, yeah, breaking Maha, I don't know what. I couldn't get that, but I should have. I really should have. The isolateors. They've got a brand new album out. It's called live at the ghost bunker and if you jump on the isolators Bank camp page. You can get it for free. There's not much going on in this. Well, you can get for free and the isolators new live session album. You can so show a bit of love. I'm guessing it's not always free. You can check them a few quid if you've got it. Just let them know because, as we know, C of bands on this earth right now I've had their income slashed, taken away, removed or even just killed in an instant by a dodgy pandemic that we're all getting sick of. But it's not going anywhere quickly, is it? So if you can check them a few quick and that goes to the same for every band, if your favorite band needs your support, please buy some Merch by some music or even just donate them some money. They do it for our listening pleasure and now is the time where we can be excellent to one another. Check them a few quick people, just do what you can. This is your weekly dose of Sca Music. This is your weekly dose of Skinna punk music. This is your weekly dose of a Welshman that lives in Australia just dishing out the best tunes he possibly can. Can't say further than that really can? We we are going to head to New York City. This is one of Ska Music's kind of longest serving veterans in terms of the states. These guys are called the slackers. They have a brand new single out. I think they've got a new double a side. Actually they have just released a ISO video for sleep outside. Everything was good, shot now it can't pay the rent, so I gotta kitchen tip now.

Sweep outside. Back in the s everything was good. I had a hope for the future. Your boy, shoot now it seems all the quety sands of a rich a man make love to the dropets of a wasted hope. They call it stay all around. Face that. I can't pay the rent, so I gotta kitchen tip now. Sweep outside. A beautiful the specials...

...from one thousand nine hundred and eighty off the more specials album do nothing. And just a bit of a note. That to tone. The label releasing the forty anniversary box set, and that is coming out on the fourth of September, features all studio albums and long out of print compilations and dance crazy live as well. And this are two tone non album track. So the big box set. I'm going to price you, but if you jump on the specials page it has a link there to to tone the album. So we're yeah, that's going to be a very, very good collectors all over the world will be going a bit crazy for that. Before the specials we heard the slackers with their latest double a cyber lease. We played sleep outside, but the other side is nobody's listening, but lots of people are. They've just announced an online gig on the first of August. It's going to open a three hundred forty five pm East Coast USA time. Not Quite sure that is in Australia, but that is obviously what their five are as ahead and UK eight forty five pm in the UK. And it features the slackers headlining with the pietasters, the bar stool preachers, one of my favorites, cap bite from Philadelphia, and DJ bus harmony. So if you love the slackers, and who doesn't, then check that out. August the first. You can get tickets on line. Just jump on their facebook page. Up The slackers and no doubt you will see all the links. Writing. A play a new band now out of Los Angeles. They're going to touch with me and said, beefy, here's our new single. They're SCAP punk outfit from Los Angeles. They called Victory Kid and this is called step it out. Smile the boys on the chase. The Queen of Grab Baby, the sort of the might do faced one day she was costing the street she had. She was out of shut upselcause she's step on his way to the game inside tricks God eggs. So we bought out of Golout. You are out. Shut up yourself, cousin. Step new dotty. It comes from Don Vision to Yall, lady, got around children and take watch yourself agive my PA, show me shut up. Shot your side. A Kamuri, their...

Japanese for smoker. Apparently that is sticking in my eye. They're at a Tokyo Japan nowadays. I didn't realize they formed in Oxnard California, so they were American when they first though. They're all Japanese people, but they reformed, a reunited in about two thousand and eleven, two thousand and twelve, and they still called Tokyo home before that. The brand new e from a victory kid out of La that is their brand new single and a debut on the sky show would be V day's called stepping out. Brilliant Right. Over the past kind of six seven weeks we've been doing a new segment on the show. Call it knew if we've been doing it six seven weeks and the segment is called Banje it. No point sky and were doing association with do the Dog Music. Check out Kevin. That flowered US little fanzine or Scar Zine. He's got a few projects on the go. Memoirs of a Scart Librarian is one and he's obviously got his monthly do the dog Scar Zine as well. Made him have a few little mysteries. Go back and for a baked bands that have played scar tunes that you don't kind of associate with sky. We've done in excess. We've done Billy Joel, we've done Kim Wild, Howard Jones, the list goes on. We are gonna add blur yet, those Brit pop exponents. We are going to do one of their tunes from the great escape. Thus, nine hundred and ninety five now blue no strangers to the old scar world. Terry Hall has done some stuff with the band and you will hear straight away that this is no different the song is called fade away and it just sounds like a special song. They Start Boarding Thee and love by why they came, man? Why One god the other,...

...the one with the same background themselves. She didn't really. She's not the only one. You don't trust the Messenger for the muses. Don't trust the Messenger the power, from the smallest the print, right up to the day the play to feel the hayway heavy on your heart attack for the first night, as the news round, right or more, we lied deliver in the pages. Okay, the actors the script, and we be all players, playing into the hands of leaping off. Take the mess that's planning. We go, getting off with the life soul. Grand so sat lost down covering up the pacifire, and you'll be pleased to know I mind a ready to be told where we should know. People go pull up that stuff, they're told. It doesn't take much to corrupt unconscious minds, so seem so...

...thought. The only one you reading trust the Messenger. Don't trust the Messenger, the power, more less the print, right up to thee the street, day dreaming, looking for something, something to believe, and when the headlines come there's no way to run. I know, way too high from the license selling. Don't tells it, tell shoot, but a mumbling filling from the port eating up the kitchen, making everyone hat and a friend against friend drop apart. Now you hate them before we see the sort of statement, because quick to commit to the creek, readily said. Snip this advantage. No matter how, don't trust the Messenger Power, the smiles print right up to the brand new from a tree house fire that is called the Messenger, just released a couple of weeks ago from Cardiff in South Wales, very close to my hometown of Newport. And before that in the bandn't noe plate scar segment of the show with fade away. How good was that that? It's a probably one of my new favorite blur songs. Actually, I use cut the horns in there and everything else you're listening to. The scar show would be if you please give us a like on facebook. We are well over the thousand lights, which is Great. All the playlist so they're replays of the show. New release videos are put out every day. Other fun stuff as well. If I get time to do it, we do a three podcasts a week. The this is a live show it's to our show gets spread up into a couple of hours. So this is the first scar part of the week. The second hour of the show will be in scarp hard number two, and then on Sunday the lucky number still I can't even remember what it's called. The lucky number album scar show would beef ee, where isolect ten albums, roller dice, whatever number comes up, we play that number track of each of the albums. It is a good show. We get to hear a lot of tracks you wouldn't normally hear. You get it here a little bit of a back catalog that you know. You might not have ventured into that worm hole really. So it's a lot of fun and I try and include bands from all over. I don't just stick with the ozis, don't just stick with the American bands. We try and delve deep into whatever we can. So we're yeah, the lucky number album scar show would beefee is out. If you've got any suggestions, please send it through to me and I'm more than happy to get them on the show. If you're in a band, semiar music, because I can't do the show without you. Guys. There has been so much new music during covid and isolation. Everything else, it has been brilliant. I don't play to how the old classics anymore because there's just too much new music. There's a bit of a balance. Hence why we came up with the lucky number album Scott show, because we just weren't hearing the old stuff enough. I'm going to say that we weren't hearing it enough, but if you're in a band and I haven't played at your band recently, please send it through and I will try my best to get your music on the show. Victory Kid did that, the isolators did that. Who Else have done that? Tree has fire of done that in the past? I love the Sinton new band's new music. Everything else. I do listen to every single track that gets sent and more often than not it does end up on the show. But please give us a like on facebook and if you look up beefy sky show on twitter, I'm there as well, so it's fairly easy to get through to me. I got to thank everyone for downloading the podcast. The numbers have been fantastic, so you more than likely listening to this on podcast. So I do really thank you for downloading and if you can just give us a rate and review five stats, please. I can't ask fairer than let we are rapidly coming to the end of the first hour of the show. We're going to take a little trip to a Chili locost day EKA. I've just released a new album called REVIENTA in Lieber Dad, so it's got somebody do with freedom. I'm sorry, it's got to looked it up. They're from Igikwi in Chile. It's their third full release on album's locost day ACCA. This one is called Memoria in model. Now I'm going to be honest. I should have looked up what that means. Is Spanish. My Spanish isn't good.
