You should never reach the place Gom we don't play anymore. It's time to have a bit of a Skank, and I think that I will in fact skank. Let us round together this fine tonight. I can see reads drying up, carried away in a big way, in a big way. Smoke in this bay are I can get carried away in a big way, in a big way, be swallowed for a while. It's like growing to a cigarette, like a waist deeper to lover's blood. Carried away in a big way, in a big way. When he says you're listening to the scar show with beef on, whatever it is, FM, thank you. Don't watch that. This is a heavy heavy mugs the song, the nutsies, songs around, Woos, stop them. All is job is stars. Always guys.

...back the hide your face and shout. Now you can never be in say, don't you know? You're just a fucking open step. Shout. I will this here before the strange soldier, soldier. Hey, this is flee...

...from the Red Hot Chili peppers for rat recording artists against drunk driving. That's because I don't want my child hit by one of you stupid drunks out there driving your car. Come here to remind you that drunk drivers are still a major killer of young adults in this country. So please use your head and save your life and those on the road. Always choose a designated drive and remember music lives. You should too. Hold it. When you call, you still holy. Your stupid. When you call holding, when you scream, you don't. But I see baby, you're stupid when you say you know, one of these days, one, I said one. You're still call it your stupid. You're still are you know, you know the new us. Happy to day everybody. That is the wonderful slackers from two thousand and seven, I think, off the boss harmony sessions year. Still Blue. What a cracking tune that is. Now the reason why I actually chose you're still blue is the slackers are putting out a new single this weekend called blue, and it coincides with slack toberfest. That is happening this weekend, October, the third it features. Are you ready for this? Obviously the slackers are headlining. It's all online, by the way. You'd have to go to the gig because, well, let's face it, I don't think that's happening anytime soon for a while. So it's like as a headlining buster...

...shuffle out of London in England, route bones Tokyo, Japan, bike me Bamby Fullerton, a US of a Chuck Ren at a Chicago in the US, of a t bone from Bangkok in Thailand, Dr Ring Dang, friend of the show, at a monster in Germany, solemn Victoria, which is a great name for US Melbourne Folk from a Mexico City and our very own the resignators. They are taking part in slacktoberfest. You can get your tickets online if you just look up slack Toberfest, which is a live stream festival. Twelve bucks. That's all it's going to cost you. That's like a dollar fifty a band. You have to do this. Let's support these bands. They're doing it because they love it. They have been missing playing live music and this is the only way we're going to get to see decent love music for a while. To place, place, play, support this live stream event hosted by the slackers and you'll get to hear blue, their brand new single. We kicked off the show with Tim Freedman of the WITLAM's fame, and he's band which was called itchy feet way back in the Midd S. big way, say big something else. Then big way. That tune was called live on the telly. And then a triple play, triple live play from Melbourne's own the godfathers of Australian scar themselves, the strange tenants doing grace, guys two steps back. And then we finish it off with soldier boy, glad to have you with me for a couple of hours of the best car tunes and scarp punk from all over the planet. Thanks for joining me. I really really do appreciate it. It's been a hell of a week. I have been a little bit sick, unfortunately, and yeah, not good, and just haven't been able to do anything, which is not like me at all. Normally I get the scar pods out to do the new release videos on the facebook page, put the playlist together everything else, but I have not been able to do anything, and it's just very good that I've been able to get back to the studio to do this, because it's been a weaker part of and between the last show live showing today, I can honestly tell you I have done nothing but sit in a chair and not good. Not Good at all. Anyway, the best it's remedy for not doing anything and being a slack bugger is just get some bloody good music, Daniel. Let's continue the Slactober fest thing. Let's play some resonators. This is going to sum up my week. This is a resonators see you in hell. I couldn't stand it, so I wrote it in a ladder to you and you can say I don't you ruck and burn the PAG when I'm through this. Did you created lead everybody jade? I can't. I can't about it something that I'm looking forward to, anyone who is in it, but get off the back, get on the Bob, get in the the shot work when you call that night, I wanna be the music that... choose you in your darkest times, the rhythm. When they come for you. They're at a St Louis Missouri, boom town united, absolutely brand spanking you how I feel. That is what, three days old, I believe. So we're good to hear from the boom town united guys. Tremendous like that. Before that, resignators who appearing on slactoberfest this weekend. Remember slactoberfest. Just jump on by a ticket, get eight, ten bands. I's your dollar band. Basically, if you can't spare a dollar a band, then I don't know what this world's coming to. Right, let's go to North New Jersey right now. Joker's republic one of my favorite bands out of North New Jersey. This is from a while ago, late last year. I think this is American dream. Let's go. There's nothing insane. The register is all that we crave, and if you ain't got nobody, then you better start. So much really American Dreams Sus tea. I started with the bottom of the blessing. You get boys to keep you, somefer going UN keep your head above water, and it's to you always want words. Don't try to make up better like you shut down on the spot when we geeknot a pressure is so heavy you've got no choice. P Raw. So much for the better opportunity for the American dream. There's no such thing.

Sorry for the bottom, with the blessing you can hope for is to keep you super growing under. They keep your head a bubble water and the top it on you. Always water, been through every water, and the problem is the state, but the people in this country. So much for the better opportunity for the American dream. There's no substing as sorting. For the bottom, with the blessing you can hope for is to keep supper flowing. Keep your head a bubble waters off up. You always wonder through every water, all the winds that back to. Well, it's been so very long since the bablish on the same history on the waters, just as washing away, watching tip us pass through, but understand who, when it's done, to say somebody's Suns to you will get you through the deep with a shop. I unto everybody's looking for the perfect. You can have that bathing... your heart. Design the perfect, perfect, perfect love. What you gonna do when one one the three division of the future isn't possible? Perfect, even a perfect fool if you are in a perfect, perfect world, perfect world seen true. They talk about me and they'll talk about you. Something that happens to fits of dress down through they begin to here we are and the laughter still and keep on breaming as long as we can in a perfect keep a perfect in a perfect, perfect our Huey Lewis and the news. Yep, but you didn't expect to hear that. That is in our bends. It didn't. No, plates scars section of the show that we do in association with Kid Flower, do, of do the dog music. He has been doing. Do the dog music. I think I just saw a both. Thirty one years he has been putting out his scazne a bit of the news from all over the sky world. He now does it on a monthly basis. If you haven't got your do the dog scazine, then I'm not sure what you've been doing with yourself. Jump on his face of page, do the dog music. Just look him up, subscribe. Get the news, all the Sky News. And he's also got some other projects. There memoirs of a twotone Scar Librarian, I think is a he's got a book, and then there's memoirs or the Tutone Time Machine Scar Zine as well. So there's loads of stuff going on. Please Support Ki Flower do. We need our historians out there doing the work for us to enjoy for years and years to come. So please support that. H We losing the news. Yeah, I didn't know he did a cartune. We have done so many weird, strange bands. We had the replacements on last week doing scyrtoons. We've had kin wild, Howard Jones, blur, we've had some stuff alsots. If you know of Benjadn't no plate scar tunes, send them to me so I can get them on the show before Hugh Lews some news. We heard jokers republic out of North New Jersey. There tune from last year American dream, big shadow to Austin. Great, big fan of the... Hope he's doing okay over there, and the rest of the guys and girls in Joga's republic. And then simple minded symphony. They're from Seattle. They are celebrating their ten birthday literally right now. That is a scar show with beefy debut and they've been around ten years. So I have to apologize to the simple minded symphony folk. Then you single wave breaker, even though you've been around ten years and you've just put out a new single, that's the first time I've ever played you. So I somebody did send that to me as well, and I have to really apologize because I haven't written down who send it to me. So thank you for that. At a Sea island Washington, simple minded symphony. I will. I'm now aware of who you guys are what you're doing. And Yeah, I like that tune absolutely brand new. Right. Talking of brand new, we're going to go the other way this time. Forty years ago this week in the UK, chats at number four up there with a bullet. It can only be one of five bands, really, can it? This is madness and probably I reckon one of the tunes that stood out in my mind as a little kiddly growing up in the UK. This really stood out because it was funny, it was cool and it had a great tune. This is baggy trousers. See why you up that wos in the pocket and ready rock. Try enough to think I'm winning. Last time I will ring enough to go on a wife, on to the next to the school. Every time. That is the room. It's alone and been plain. So I'm back sides. I Guy Les, Move Down, I'm pushing out. We had had that looks boys lot, smells and looks noise, buying bol in the park, kicking with my baggy, try to start breaking back up the end of the plastic. Had White Drinks, wends with beets, the line with he wants to stay out, don't want to go to his Ma auting fingers. Must Down this road. Drink the doctor signal. Drink, for he wants to go...

...out, but he still stay home, sitting watch colors. Drink. Then to night it goes chasing jumps, which with flushing from the lamp post on Saturday night. Yeah, lovely. The specials are with stereotypes. Have you haven't heard the specials? A move there, two thousand and Twenty Tur to two thousand and twenty one. But what they did with that delay of the announcement of the tour is that Liva golding also announced that there's a new album. Nobody really knows what's going on, but there is definitely a new album coming from the specials. It's obviously probably to coincide with the tour next year. So fingers crossed they will get to Australia. They normally do there pretty good that way. But there is dates all the way through August, September, I think. So I no doubt that more dates will be added as the guys come together and allowed to play again. I'd play stereotypes because that followed off the back of madness and baggy trails. I just pulled up the UK charts from this week. In one thousand nine hundred and eighty. Number four was baggy trays, as in madness. Number One, by the way, was don't stand so close to me by the police. And as I scroll down through the chats, the specials at number twenty five with stereotype and international jet set, and then we go a few little spaces down Tom Hark from the Paranas at thirty three. Now I'm going to play a bit of Tom Hawk in the second hour of the show, the beat with best friend and stand down Margaret at thirty four in during the blockade, with their little bit of a scar. I want to be straight. which the poker is actually do a cover of which is brilliant. Special Brew Bad manners, one of my all time favorite songs. At forty one, who else did I see? Bank rubber by the clash. That's an absolute scar classic. But what a chat. I should we should do a show where we just go from the S and just play all those songs. Really shouldn't we? I can't even get the lucky number album scar show out at the moment, so let alone promise yet another show. So that's twenty eight, September, one thousand nine hundred and eighty. What a chat that was. Master blaster, stevie wonder, the s CEO but o one one day, a fly away Randy Crawford, mile piano, Diana Ross. Feels like I'm in love. Kelly Marie. I'm think my dad a single for that. No one bites us by Queen. It's only love. Elvis Presley and Amigo black slate run at the top ten on this countdown. Right. Another band that playing slactoberfest this weekend. All right, I'll Fullerton, California. They're called bite me Bamby. This is their brand new single. These guys are absolutely brilliant. Is called I don't want to be thinking maybe happy see cle you always that...

...we can play all the sheep that you can. There's no way that I say I want to be the one check them out at Slactober fest this weekend. That is bite me Bambi out of Los Angeles. Well, effectively followed them day's anny and I don't want to be we've quickly come to the end of the first scar part of the week. I will be back straight away with the second hour of the show. We're going to kick off with the world famous cover section, as normal. If you're in a band, I haven't played your music. Please get in touch. The best way to do it through the facebook page the scar show with beefy new release videos of there, all the playlists of their scar pods, of their anything else, and it's the best where contacting me. To Send me a message through there. If you're a twitter type at beefy scar show, that is the other place where you can get me. Part from that, not huge amounts to say watch out for the second scar part of the week. If you're on a request, just say hello, say beefy, please play us this. I'm going to try and play a bit more old school stuff. There has been loads of new releases over the past six months and I have squeezed as many new releases into every show I've done. It's only the right thing to do, isn't he? We've all heard the old classis. I try and play a lot of album tracks as well and just things a little bit different than other shows. Don't play. Try and squeeze as much diversly into the shows as I possibly can, although really it's only been an Australian, American and a couple of English bands in this show, so not a good time to highlight that. And I'm going to finish off the first hour of the show with another new release and another American band. These guys are based in Detroit. They're called we are the union. This is brand's banking you. It's called your way, your time. Are we back check you next time? Just stay safe, everybody. Why do we think? What ships and see? Whoa what's your purpose? What's your purpose in this Bush? Tell you...

...that you will fall behind. pressureizing pressure, make your meeting. Make your meeting. I'll tell you that you will fall behind. You will fall behind. I'll tell you that you will fall behind. Get back in line, but it's your way time. Tell Hey, there beefy, Hey, rob, do you have nothing to do all the time? Yes, I've got nothing to do all the time, rob. Well, guess what? I've found something that you can do with your nothing time. What's that? Rob? Listen to a great podcast called three hundred and sixty five days of sport. Right, it stares you and me. Oh Wow, so other people can listen to it besides the people who are on it. Yeah, if you want, get it. Whatever you get your podcast from. Well, spotify to three hundred and sixty five days of sport.
