ABOUT THIS EPISODE

The Ska Show with Beefy is the SECOND best Ska Podcast on the planet (https://blog.feedspot.com/ska_podcasts/) and we bloody love it here at Ska Central! We're still not sure what we have to do to get the number 1 spot though - just keep being awesome I guess! Beefy is quickly making this little corner of the Ska Universe his very own as every week the World's (2nd) Greatest Ska Radio Show (sponsored by Masita.com.au - the best sports teamwear in Australia) brings the world some of the best Ska music currently out there. Broadcast live from Melbourne to Australia and the rest of the world on 88.3 Southern FM, no other ska show boasts the diversity or the innovation of what Beefy brings to the Ska party! 2019 is proving to be The Year Of Ska and it's up to the Big Beef Man to make sure it stays that way! As always Beefy kicks the show off with another awesome live set and this week The Toasters get to instigate proceedings and then ska glory from Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Strange Tenants, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, The Hot Knives, Alla Spina, The Beat, The Bennies, Mustard Plug, Mighty Mighty Bosstones and the brand newie from Madness! Check out The Ska Show with Beefy Facebook page for playlists and other fun stuff! Send me your music if you're in a band - do it & I'll play it.

God finds who I am as a person and I will never turn my back on Scott. Looking back, I have no regrets. You should never wait the play gum. We don't wake any more. It's not a pretty side. The lads are they long to give backs against it's not a pan in life things this day is followed by a Batman. All the chosen and whe just what to do. Robb to rescue, and boys are we are the chances and we have dun flight side left at the top along back to your sweat shop. The chosen are coming through and we knows just what to do. It's robbing rescue. Well, says if we boys. Now, this is in English Public School. This is where Britain raised its empires of yesterday and still trains the leaders of tomorrow. Hey can say anything to the scar show with beef on, whatever it is. FM. Thank you. Don't watch this. This is the heavy, heavy monster. So the nuts songs around. Who Stop the poker play? Feel this is job. It is...

...you is I think. I think is the big turned on, because I got here. Anybody not mission? I don't know how many of you have...

...a show, but the cross st your part. It's one thousand nine hundred...

...and thirty three a great range of sports gear for all ball sports and all corporate way. Doesn't matter what sport you play, Messita have the kit for you. MESSEDAR offers a full catalog of on field and off field apparel. It's the best quality money can buy. Get in touch one three hundred messita on thes cedarcom. That Aus a last song. It's also a light of single big red bus. Your US ahead, come on, let's it. Those hands fing going any better than that times, Joe. Thanks very much.

Strange tenants, big red bus. Certain night at the Curtain Hotel is the annual strange tennis Christmas show and the reason I played big red buses because they are. That's included on the set list. Haven't seen the set list, but big red buses definitely there because they don't play it very often. Bruce has told me they're going to play. She asked me. These are songs off their debut. One thousand nine hundred and eighty two, ep they haven't played. She asked me. Since one thousand nine hundred and eighty three, they're going to play grand point zero or something like that. Soldier boy dreaming of you love is blind. They're playing with the fistful of Trojans. Are Safe. Australia and the Moon oops, who played last year's Christmas show as well. Very, very good. So Saturday at the Curtain Hotel. Tickets still available. You can pay on the door. There is a footnote saying this could be their last ever show. I don't know whether that's a threat or whatever, but they need to get along and see these guys because they're awesome. They're not called the godfathers of Australian scarf for nothing. They are very good. Sort of film or documentary the other week, and that is such an eye opener as well about their career and everything else. Great stuff. This is the scar show with me, beefy. We kicked off the show with madness has brand new single bullingdon boys. On the eve of the UK election, mattness getting all political honors, making sure that the Boris and the Tories don't get back in. It will be a very, very interesting few days over in the UK, that is for sure. I'm surprised to specials haven't come out with something anyway. But then we also played a little live set from the toasters. Now on this day in one thousand nine hundred and seventy three in New York City, CBGB's opened. Now try to find a list of bands that played CBGB's, and obviously they're four five live gigs a week. But the toasters were the only the really the only ones that showed up in that list that were essentially scar. So I thought why not? Let's play the bloody at toasters and get that sort of down. Thanks. Joining meet wherever you own a world, whether you're in the UK, the US or Australia or anywhere else that loves a bit of SCAR. My name is beefy. I'm going to be taking you through the next hour and a half of great scar tunes from all over the planet, some new releases, some old stuff. Gonna get bit sentimental Christmas time and start throwing in some Christmas songs, as we have the last couple of weeks. There's not many new releases this week, but there are some new tunes, but I will sprinkle them in throughout the evening anyway. Let's I've had a quest from one of our great listeners. They wanted to hear a bit of double barrel and the best version I've got is by the old hot knives themselves. This is it. The old Dave and an sold college wasn't the original, but this is live. I love my life stuff. We've had some live tunes already. So double barrel the hot knives. I'm sometimes that Tempera Cherry's...

...right and you would see your dance until daylight. But sometimes it's just hurricane straight to spring. To Guess. Then one this loss, the next day's grounding, the blowing up to do the Christian who pays, who makes the sounds cooked, all the food and all the town take a rush at the door, a fire, the flowing up in a boxing. It sounds even better. Yeah, brand new. Well, I say brand new, it...

...is brand news. Just being released again. Good days, bad days by the Melbourne Scar Orchestra. And you see it was on the fifty two weeks of scar for CD set from last yeah, that's the Area Award Winning World Music Area Award winning album, the MELBOURN scarre USTRA. They have released a load of new live dates. It is the good days, bad days, Toll Oh. Yeah, they're doing news eve in Melbourne at the moment. Music it called that. It's going to be absolutely awesome, but you can catch them throughout February and March. So they're going to do mullum Bimbie, Brisbane, the Sunshine Ghost, then there's a couple of weeks off. Then they're back to Newcastle, Sydney, Wollo Gong and then they're going to finish it off, maybe the first at the forum in Melbourne. So they will be absolutely awesome by the time they get back to Melbourne Afterno's Eve. Well else we hear the hot nights doing live double barold. Now Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra have a brand new album out. We've played Hamm ahead off it. This one is the second tune to be released. It is called Zombie Games. We need to get these guys to Australia, we really really do. I see the Look Anne, the new roots, but then she's she's one.

You wanna us, you cannot be a bit of live beat part of the put hands off. She's mine. How good with that band in the ads? Rest in peace, Mr Rankin Roger. Unfortunately, anyway, Alice Beiner up in Bridgbane. They're enjoying their one more thing album. They have got a load of dates coming up as well. December I think this weekend they're playing with the madness tribute band one step behind her out from the UK. That's at the zoo and I think due to popular demand, they are doing another Gig with one step behind on the twenty and then again at the zoo in Brisbane. On twenty seven, December, the Benny's are playing with a welcome and Anna. Up at Solbar on the sundry coast, Marucci daughter playing a game with the Bennies. And then, obviously Scar Nation two thousand and twenty, they're playing with Mustar Plug resonators at control army at the bright side March fifth up in Brisbane as well. So why don't we hear some Alicepin? I'll probably play some Benny's after this. Let's by the title track off their brand new album. This is one more Ding Allah spina. You have bad inside, bad you. I used to fear it, to f...

...inside you try it's home, for if I used to fee to wear it, now we still be and it's landed us to feel. I used to wear it, and it's just be language, warning, language, warning, language warning. Yeah, this is Betty's world war transmission, and take me away from this. Lines come out loving everyone to say get me on my knees, KNA fucking place, one straight through. It is like lightning, so exciting. They don't take you. One down flame. You will never ever win the mall. So fuck up a nurse. Don't get at all. Can't ever win. Won't ever win. That I really such a bad thing because I'm gonna lose pop. That makes me being scrus. You Never Lake got a basic fuck the word. Get high again. They are not...

...doing it all again. There is the betties. They're playing December twenty stay gold in at Melbourne and, as mentioned, there are being Queensland, twenty seven, Twenty eight, twenty nine, December, Brisbane, suntime coast and then then the Gold Coast at the Miami Mart Ketcher. They just played the good things fest of all last couple of days, Friday, Saturday Sunday, in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, playing with real big fish. I saw last Thursday night. It would pretty good. By all. Okay, it's Benny's went off at good things as well, but just letting you know we're coming to we got seven minutes anyway, so we should play some juices. Of course we shall. If I didn't play Chunes. What would the show be? It wouldn't be the scar show with beef you be the chat with Beefy, R silence with beefy. No good. I did mention earlier about Scar Nation two thousand and twenty, because Alaspina are playing on the Brisbane Bill in March, headlined by mustard plug. Now I thought must have plug a being Australia before, but they haven't. This is going to be their first ever trip to Australia to play a tour, so I should play one of their tunes. So get your tickets. Plays Scar Nation two thousand and twenty, playing in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and then two shows in Melbourne, eight and nine to March. We're also going to bring out out the control army from Mexico and the resumetors will be supporting on all dates. Anyway, must have plug mendozare me dozare down the hole in the way they I'm living in the shadow on your mouth and out. You gotta help me upside a room never be the same. I know that the sum said my kitten even the sky when she was done. I only asked the I am looking forward to that. Master Plug Match in Australia. Next year. You're listening.

The states come down, come and support the top why not as regular this as well? Now, the second hour of the show, I always kick off with a load of covers. It covers. Oh my God, it's like I can't even speak. The Sept to me the other week as well, I couldn't get me words. I we kick off the second hour the show. It is the world famous cover section and it doesn't get any bigger than this. And we're coming up to Christmas, so they could be some Christmas songs in there as well. In the meantime, you are listening to the scar show with me, beefy, and I will try and pronounce some words properly. So to take us up to the top of the hour. Want we have some mighty, mighty BOSSOS. This is that rascal king by a lack inspiration from the many problems, to crack and Basta, prison swag outs, constant gun pictions and justice. I what stranger the fiction never ceasing to amaze on the LE basis. First, face the rascal, keep the rascal. Get me. Hey, they're beefy. Hey, rob do you have nothing to do all the time?
