We're not going to do what we're gonna do. Ladies, would you have a look at Miss Your Bazo over there please, the solid stoic, a wholeginy like pillar of a man. Anyway. Yet talking about the past, we start the bandit miss your pass been doing some years ago. We probably wouldn't fit in there now, but anyway, my girls, I didn't want to see the film tonight. I found it hard to say. She's through enough of her what she said. She's lovely to me and every night my girl's being on the telephone for an hour. I had said I tried and try explain. Why do I feel my doesn't? We say yeah, what better way to kick off to thousand and nineteen with the one and only the madness boys? Absolutely fantastic. That was taken from Um a live nears eve Gig they did on BBC just this year to kickoff two thousand and nineteen. I thought, if they're kicking off two thousand and nine on BBC. Anyway, we'll kick off with some tunes. I've played madness. They did must be Love, love, love, nwfive and then mark girl's mad at me. He brilliant. Just cannot fault the madness boys obviously played your last year. Absolutely brilliant. Going strong again. Lots of gigs coming up for them anyway. One of my favorite bands out of double and let's get this thing going sick. That's not in the bionic rats. This is girls with big hands. Oh yes, no one. I'm just ANA...

...bridge. Fun Big enough the fit of from don't complaints, but I've heard one thing I hate. It's big hands on the board. Can you stow this careful? Way Back in my coast, she had one plate shores on the end of she's a homey. She'd hope she squeeze me so tight. I'll swear they're gonna for some Mus I said You told me so that I never blown off, and I just don't know. I'm back. I'm for Mery. Some one hits on my bass, but you don't have far freeze because I'm a black screen. You got the problem and know what I am. I'm not a way of shut out of my head, because I really don't know where I am. I'm not away about you shut to get out of my head, because you won't be so like a child, because my still friend. It's not feeling it. I will your misery. Someone get my goal, because I need to go. I'm with the crowds. Are Brilliant. It's gonna go and I laugh because I'm a play screen. You got a problem? Is He know where I am. I'm not a win of my feature. To get out of my hand, to get out of my head. Know where I am. I'm not a Fudo my fjumpit out of my head. Su Won't be because I can't, because I'm stabling bun shot aloking thee. My head still spinning. Apple Call Myself. I want the dollar rolling. Fail. You yall learn when your future green. Don't, because I'm a play screen. You got the problem. Sabou three where. I'm not a point of shop. Get Out of get out. I know I have. I'm not a wit of my pup. Get Out of my joe show. You won't be about. It's the music's right now.

Don't let the fire. It's the people say. Don't let that fire, just like the music. Yeah, how nice it is that that's the prize fighters. They're at a mini APP listink ball the twin cities of Minnesota. They are prize fighters. That is absolutely brand spanking new. Is a new album out called firewalk fverry fifteen. I think the release date is for that album. So please check out the prize fighters. I think their email. Their website is the prize fighters dotnet. But the the funny enough, they got in touch Connie from the prize fighters. She got in touch with us through the scar show would be facebook page. Said, bee fee, you haven't played enough of the prize fighters. Please play our new single. So there it is. I did. Now if you're in a band and you want your music played on the best scart show on the planet, please get in touched through the facebook page, semi message and some of you music, because I will play a love hearing new bands and two thousand and nine is going to be a rip snorting full of new scar for everyone. Not that two thousand and eighteen wasn't. We had so many new bands pop up, new music, public different styles pop up, absolutely awesome, and I reckon two thousand and nineteen is going to be bigger and better still. Now we talked about new bands. What about old bands? What about the best bands we ever saw live? The specials we are what's a date? Today, the third. So what's that? Twenty nine days and counting. Oh yes, indeedy the specials. New Music from the specials do act first of February. The album is called NCRE. I think it's a ten track special as a few covers in there, but there is some new stuff. This was the single that got dropped just a few weeks ago as a bit of a teaser. It is called vote for me. It is the first new music from the specials for a God damn long time. We had the very privilege of playing it first in Australia. Yes, the specials vote for me. We had the Australian Premiere. Course he did. Who else would play the specials vote for me on the air waves? Anyway, was all play it again. Twenty nine days in canning till we get new music. And you know what generally means with the specials and new music. There's a tour whole. Fingers crossed, I thought, for you. Do You promise to be...

...upright, DEC honest, to have a best interests at heart? You understand why we don't believe you. You're way too easy to see through. The best places to start. There are no locks at rockaway beach, and that lets you're also drunkn money in the power inside you're either teaching does not to be smile making lost. That's up to protect you, but we will never you are a families apart. The rock away. That's so with me, Fo for you promise to upright, then take away all the fear, sit and wait for us to let you all will do is there are no rocks. Rock away. Let's stance as one. You know we are. The...

...music a sweet. Don't delay. We gotta dance. We are on the world shows. Some Gore. Were must your night. I make a stand. See in the kitchen, on the streets, the rich man home back. Come on your body, because the music so sweet. We gonna we...

...screeching light. Something's going down. To Light Up, to run out MS place, but a shot as hunting race. No questions as we run, eyes and hands on West set up. Someone pays. We are lowe can say we are to get the money. Leave the trash sput it up and make your stash. Another daring scheme said that day. Can't call on your head. Cannon fire. One shot you down. Super Days shake fright. Yeah, strange tenants and I was released late last year. Militant style is the new album from strange tenms of played a lot of gigs up and then the east coast and all over. and how good were the email? What a night that was at the old John Curtain upstairs. Bloody fantastic. Before that we had a nevil stable band with his wife, sugary be as one needed a new album as well last year called rude rebel, I think it was. So that's an absolute belting album as well. And then, all away from Argentine, I lost agro tones riding to Sonora. Little bit of instrumental bit of a scut lights about that. Obviously that's off a little CD, a little fundraising CD from the London International Scar Festival that are struggling to kind of make ends meet. So they've put out a CD. Please check it out, called Happy People Rudy's all around volume one. So no doubt there's more to come. There is eighteen tracks on this album and from thirteen different countries. So no Australian bands though, on this CD. I'll have...

...to make sure that gets sorted out in the future. You know. No, perhaps is going to be these guys. They just been up in playing the WOODFORD folk festival. They got given the actual stroke of midnight New Year's Eve slot as well at Woodford folk festil. So they've gone down a storm up there. They are Melbourne's own. I shouldn't say Melbourne's own because they're from all over Victoria, but they hang out quite a lot in Melbourne. This is Francis Harrison, all the boys and girls of the resignators. Melbourne's one of Melbourne's best live acts and they play regularly. They're a sight to see and they've absolutely torn it up up at Woodford. So why don't we here one of my favorite tunes to kick off to? There's a nineteen. This is called fish at a water. Absolute cracking tune about you and I'm gonna take he wait. You want me to sup a shallow water ruby fish? When I saw your lies and you're not watching, the weather's coming in and leads drinking. Gee, the booze is singing. Oh, maybe you're tied. If Joanna Smoking Green, it doesn't seem of seeking, just looking need and wasted. I'm not shadow fish. When I saw your lies and you're not watching back to the case in hand when playing the bed. At least that's a father. Sometimes you're hot now. Just don't mean the truth. Maybe I am being her everything I said. It's true that you say. Now I'm by myself. Question the way to suppose it's a shadows fish. Fish I saw never step beyond the door. He stuck in a moment, a time of one. You all take a look outside. The circle is beyond the square. They not hands in approval. You really care? I want to be like you're hiding from the I wouldn't want to be like you, to afraid to try, afraid to try. It's open. Believe the Safety Office. Dream there's a sails, a sister yawning as you did.

To dream. There's a pyramid of stone slowly cunning in the sand. There's a man that feels securing. He's a perfect when I wouldn't want to be from I wouldn't want to be to afraid to try, as the ain't wasted tears cheeks. A child is climbing high pine tree. There's a mountaineer on the edge, but he knows he's free. I wouldn't want to be to afraid to try, afraid. I wouldn't want to be to afraid to try. Your friend, I wouldn't to be like you. No nonsense. There Melbourne's stalwarts from the early S, made a bit of a renaissance. Nearly got a big, high profile gig spot and Jimmy Burns earlier this year I had to where we mentions, but it wasn't quite to be. But check out urban hymns, urban miss such as, say, not urban hims. That's another English band by the somebody else. Don't where. Is Definitely not scar. They apparently may well be playing a few gigs this year. I get told, you never know. Fingers crossed. Before that, Melbourne's own, the resonators. We fish out of order and the godfathers are Australian scar strange tenants doing. We are the firm. It's an old one, but it got remastered this year for their latest album, militant style. Anyway, why not finish off this first hour with another just groundbreaking Melbourne band, Melbourne Scar Orchestra. What they did last year? They did fifty two singles in fifty two weeks. Yes, they released a new song every week. On a Friday, you just jumped on their facebook page and there was the new music. Yep, I don't think Nicky bomber and the boys and girls of the Melbourne Scary Orchestra probably doing that again. I'm sure it was just an absolutely kind of gut busting campaign to do a new and they did a video as well for every song, so absolutely crazy. Now the very, very last song of the year was a tune called Magnolia springtime. I'm gonna play it now, but please, please play. Stay tuned for the second hour. As regular listeners will know, we have a bit of fun at the top of the second hour. We have a bit of we do a lot of covers that you may not have expected to hear on this here already show. I might play Justin Bieber, I might play Abba, I might play the Beatles, I might play Black Sabbath. It won't be by those bands, by the way, but it'll be the way the music should have been played in the first place, with a bit of horns and a bit of upbeat, offbeat love. Anyway, stay tuned for the second hour. I will be here waiting for you. Melbourne scart orchestra, Magnolia Spring to the song. Spring is everywhere. I don't want to do little Dick see...

...if he's still buy you. Every really is a blessing. Up Right shows up bout you watch your Moma and get fust chick off. Cherryston springing up is everywhere. If you said you rein on my bread, you know the clouds you get in using my name. You think you broke my heart, girl, for Goodness Sake, you think I'm crying on my own way, and I didn't want to write a song because I didn't want anyone thinking I still care. I don't, but you still hit my phone. Moving on, I think you should be something I don't want. Baby, you should know that my mama don't like you. I never what's if you like you look that much, should go and love yourself. Am If you think then I'm so holding on to something. You should go and love yourself. When you told me that you hate my friend, feel me rather with you, and I damn in every time you told me my opinion was wrong and try to make me for you where I came from. And I didn't want to write a song because I didn't want anyone thinking us to care. I don't want you. Still hit my phone, baby. Moving on, then, I think you should be something I don't want to hold back. Baby, you should know that my mama don't like you, and she likes everyone. And I never liked you and that I was wrong. But I get so caught up in my job didn't see what's going on. Sleeping as if you like. You should go and love yourself. You should. You made me...

...feel small, knew nothing at all. I never felt so long when I was former. Would I barter? Let you break down my wife. Love Yourself. Should go yourself yourself. Well, I would say I'm sorry. I thought that you would change your mind, but I know that this time I had said too much, been too unkind. So I tried to laugh about it, cover it all up with lives. Yeah, I try to laugh about it, hiding that dancing my eyes. I was I'm sorry, if I thought that it would change your mind, but I know that this time I have said too much. I'm into our kind. So what you do? Laugh about it, cover read all over the eyes. Yeah, I try to laugh about it, hiding the dazzy in my eyes, because, boys, I break down at your feet and bank forgiveness, please with you, but I know that it's too late and now there's nothing. I can't do it. So I do laugh about it. Yeah, I try to laugh about it, hiding the tast in my eyes. Because boys don't. I tell you that I loved you if I thought that you would stay, but I know that it's too late and you've already gone away. Miss Judge, you get you back by my side, but I just keep on laughing and hiding the Tis in my eyes, because boys don't. Area Seven doing the cure, Melbourne's own area seven, who have been busy as hell...

...this last year, after Steve Oh leasing a telling me that now we're going to ease down a bit. Now, check, he's going away. I'm going to play all these gigs. Yeah, Support Smash Moth doing the hotter than he'll tour. Check local tickets to local actless for tickets. Hotland held it all over Australia. Think area is seven probably only been doing every gig. By the way, on that tour they're gonna play. Oh, I forgot to mention scar nation is back. SCAR nation is back. Good Friday at the Corner Hotel and the following a Sunday down in Jolong. April twenty eight Melbourne Scar rogster playing. I think they're only playing the delong version. Area is seven a plane. Strange ten is going to play. The resume is going to play. I will go through that a bit longer, bit in more depth of another time, because we are promoting that show. Of course we are, because the best scar radio show on the planet needs to promote local scar get weeks. Of course we do and we will. So I'm going to go through a load of that stuff and play. I'll clearly. I'm gonna play all the bands, a lot of bands that applied today or on that on those two bills anyway. Anyway, covers. That's where we're at. Area Seven doing the cure and many sisson doing Justin Bieber's love yourself. I'm going to keep the scar vibe going. This is one of our favorite scar covers. Band they called the Holophonics. This is walk the Moon. Yeah, I can see it. You can. You're going to be dancing in your car to the scar version of shut up and dance. I know you will anyway enjoy. It's probably how the song should have been done in the first place. Oh, did you just get your eyes on me? You're holding back. She said. This walls. She said cantroll physical crypt the base and Fading Day together, ticket together. Back, just keep your eyes on me. I said, you're holding back. She said shut she said dress and discup dated and seen street eating my chest, that she loved me. Yeah, we would love to be together, to be together, shout, just keep your eyes on me. I said, you're holding back. She said shut up and dance with me. She said last chance. Oh, don't you tell a just keep your eyes on me. I said, you're holding back. She said, St Dance with me. This woman is not destined. She said, don't you tell, Your eyes on me holding. She said better stop dreaming out a quiet will never know...

...a quick running for that one ways, Rosie, dance and stop the things you've done and rose up this use in the day lonely house. It's enough to struggle after struggle in Sundays with a gun trucks at the moment, just going and creaking, sweet breeze in a sound in a sound power part of next door, two lovers in the bedroom. Any other starts. Name of the will never agains in the distance, as we can't kick off two thousand...

...ninety without a bit of Ram set ruby so ho. Banging it through your ear old's you listen to the scar show with a bit of punk thrown in, with beefy live on sudden the FM every Thursday afternoon to till for lightning up your air waves with one step closer to the weekend. Bring it in in in style with me, Mr Nobody of scar basically. Anyway, what else do we have? We kicked off the little segment the holophonics doing shut up and dance, and then one for molly, who rang in and said I've just heard your show for the first time and it's bloody awesome. Thanks, Molly. She's also presented on the old sudden the FM Saturday afternoons, four till five, Molly's blooming hour. WE'RE gonna go to Finland? Yes, we are. This is a band that got in touch with US last year. They had a new album out they called strum one hundred and one. How they came across this here are little radio show. I have no idea, but they play some absolutely banging punk rock tunes with a bit of a scar kind of siding thrown in. Anyway. This is off their new album. Please check out strum one hundred and one. They're from Finland and we playing them on Australian radio. This is called happy endings. To Walk for me bring you to look where you turn away what you are leaving. Your Sake, I'm p the fucking hum making mistake to see a presence. Get The fucking my way. That I wasn't for me to want you from chase with puppets hot. It's time to take you to say what's gonna when everything is yeah, there's naughty fins. This from one. I have to...

...apologize for a bit of rude words in the middle of that June that I didn't know about anyway. Yeah, crazy fins. Hey, one, three, one's Luke Yo would formerly of King Cannon's in the spirit and a few other bands kicking around. They've released a little double a side late last year and it's an absolute belter. This is if it's a double a side. It's one of the singles. It's called North bound. It was a Christma window from a mattress in my room. How seven tonight before, from a mattress in my room, I got me a ticket. I got it together, got me a ticket on a loft down drive. I'm a dawn. You can fret and we scared off about it with your peers. It won't make a single bit at difference to Shenach powers from your ivory towers in Washington, parling or London. But there's a place on no just outside boat. Whenever Children Screaming Mama Datta Bok be against me, just to get their last little bit to me. I got a box of matches. Let's showing what we mean. My should get that's time to make us in. Let shot down all the like they built. It's fuel by a fire. This then, free will. My will offers day run the Times. They have put us through, compy and gone. Everybody learned to stand once more. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you. Yeah, absolutely brilliant. Bastard preachers. One of my absolute favorites from last year off the new album gratzy gavern no, and that is the title track. Gratzy govern no, please get it. Awesome, absolute awesome. There from Brian in England. The bar still preachers love them to come to Australia to a lot with the interrupters, who will be playing a bit Laer, because I had a great album out last year as well, but some great, great tunes, if you like your clash style kind of Punk Rock. I can't, honestly can't recommend it enough. Absolutely awesome. Akay, talking about recommending tunes, this is a band had a Perth they called dilip and the DABS and they released an absolutely cracking tune this year called last year. Sorry, Marie, jumped the gun. Mistake. Number one called spot on, a throwback to to town, the specials and you know, the Pranhas and all these in the beat and everything else. Just for normals. I'm going to play this. This a these boys out of Perth. They called Dilip and the days and this is called spot on. Train it goes just the trait. That's a red to tell you to move your dancing light starting on the floor. The gonna blown. Leave me. One thing more. This place is for you rocky know. Let's dance. Of course it is. I'm a play. We did play the single, so we thought something was coming. We did play the single, which was called you can't have all of me, which are going to play now? I'm going to play the title track off the album as well. So get the new album from real big fish, available from wherever you buy music nowadays. This is you can't have all of me wick up in the morning, have at hearty breakfast, think about that. Nightmares that I didn't finish. Dad Name problems in in ever ends. Everybody was a piece that. They never said what I'm giving out. It always in too little. Give me more, give me more is one they all say. My boss, job, my family. I need a little for myself. And all these bills made such a chart by the time I wat the trick out, already all more. And there's always before taking out my time. I'm already lost my pictures. Now I'M gonna lose my Bob. I need a little for myself, all my soul, a little for myself. It's not my stuff to be I'm like a skeleton of voters. Pick my bone screen and all these vampire out o they you take it more and I just have to go without. I got nothing. I need a little for myself, a get on the...

...dance floor. It's all right. The dance floors worse than they've ever gonna and nobody here is getting out of life. So I want to want that life stole. So let's dance. So let's dance. So let's dance like socks. I've been we get up billion the morning lately, go and tell the list of all the people that hate me. What did I do? So I'll come. We know she gone burned down everything the last time out. She got started. He's the one that is fast time for the last time. The drink. So she's shaking, but if until she don't mean make it out. If you can dream it, he's a the last time, last time. Yes, the interruptors. She's Gerasen is still tearing...

...the charts up in the US, which is quite amazing for scarband and amy and the Bivona Boys. Tremendous, tremendous. They will be back this year, no day, with new stuff. That album. Get that as well. Fight the good fights. Absolutely awesome and just a throwback to good old fashioned scarp unger guess and bit of rock and roll with the just a hint of decency about it. Oh yes, indeed. He another new album out last year was Dave Wakeling, and he's kind of the beat offshoot from the states, the English beat. He put a new album out which is just reminiscent so much of the early beat stuff called. Here you go, all of. Yep, that's what it's called. You got to do with the accident as well. Here we go, all of anyway, the first single off the album was gold. How can you stand there? And if it's not, if you like the beat, you're going to love this record. Absolutely brilliant, massive throwback, and day's been kind of doing this weird kind of cruise ships car live act for a while now, but he's finally realized that he can actually still play decent music. This it's gold. How can you stand there? It's off. Here we go, all off. How can you stand? How can you stand? Signs all around the sound something, something's coming down by the bags and the like. Its gonna. How can you stand? My God, I how good is he? How good...

...is he? How can you stand there? Day waggling English beat? Absolutely awesome. Right. That's nearly it for to the first show. Two Thousand and nine.
