Good. I Australia. This is Chris from the fun atics. You're listening in the sky show with beefy on southern FM. A eight point three on your scanning dial. This is the nurse who come. This is it? This is yeah, you just wrote my best song in here. Now I'm facing my worst tears here and you've lost your will to play dark with drew. That's always we started off. It's just recruits, but on mission to go fishing. Never one another grouper. When we sat at short in the distance, somebody shouted, so hoary started planing all those. That's always in the California money goes on the bus be cut because, as with the crew, that's always still champion. Let them break it down twice. The champion...

...and break it down, and let him break it down twice. Society round. I know we never see. I do. I try to plain and you ask me why I think feeling when I see you there. I shouldn't know that. You would never care. Too many times this would change to stay the same. Never see eye to. Ask Me why you did so. He Way, all at the same place again another I got nothing happened. I got excited when you lead on me, but then you never say what you me. Why did you ask me out tonight? Time is right. Now it's down my men without into bed. So you did what the hell? We never see I do. I try to explain and you ask...

...me why a second feeling when I see you there. I should have known that you would never care. Why did you ask me to call me up until the time is right. Now it's time to put down my head without you going to bed. Yeah, I heard what you did. He just say here is seven, kind of the only Melbourne scab and not to be playing on last weekend. Oh yes, we have to. We should have sorted that out a long time ago, shouldn't we? Yes, you are listening to the scar show with me, beefy, every Thursday afternoon here on Sudden FM. Eighty eight three, the sounds of the bay side, oh sweet, sweet, sweet sounds of scar. Thank you for joining me. Wherever you are in the world, I am gonna just bang your ear drums with two hours of the greatest scatchoons from all over the planet. And if you're in Melbourne, last weekend the center of the Sky Universe was here in ten as. The stones from New Zealand came over Luke Yo wood from the king cannons. Johnny longshot launched their album. The scavenders came kind of had a pseudo retirement to play GIG. Looney tunes played their first Gig for months and months. It was a double header at the old rock and roll bar with the resignators and Ko Joe Kings are a plethora of riches. Absolutely brently a stones were absolutely fantastic, by the way. What else is going on? The interrupters, that is their brand new one called tidal holder. Their new album is at twenty ninth of June, only a couple of weeks away. They just played our Punkin drublic or something the like, the pseudo vans warped orf at Mike's Little Gig. They played it absolutely killed it by all accounts. Just announced the tour of the UK in December, so that's promising. Hopefully they'll be back in Melbourne. Last time they came down they play a little gigger the guest soometer whilst supporting Green Day. So you never know, they might come down again and play a couple of gigs. That will be fantastic. We kicked it off of the band from Philadelphia called behind deadlines. That one is sink or swim. Check out beyond deadlines. They're absolute brant ZAC, good big hello, big day to Zac, who we go in touch with me previously, a long time ago, said please, please, please, play our music on your show. So I do, and I have done and I will continue to do so because I absolutely love behind deadlines. are absolutely great. All righty, we're just going to keep banging on the tunes and I'm just going to keep pumping them out. I just mentioned these guys. They did play Friday night at their hotel. They headlined a GIG. They don't play too often, but when they do, doesn't it go off. They've even recruited new members. These go eyes are called looney tunes. I'm just we just needed to play a lot, a lot more. Anyway. This is life of crime. This is live from the Aberdeen a long, long time ago. All right, this one's a bit bleaving. It's a lot of crime. sleaving, man, you go by...

...when you had a mixed I'm a guy. You hold on mine. I need some of sometimes through the lits with you, streams and nightm hold with me. I love you. Hold on tight, and don't let go to...

...do my fees. Move never show. There's a garden in my heart that you made every single part. As I love you, I sometimes let go. Sometimes. Yeah, absolutely brilliants. The simmer tones. They're out of Devon in England. That's called I love you madly, and I do. I love that tune. Absolutely brilliant. Then before that the scopones at Darlington, from cradle to grave, and then our good old friends and looney tunes, who went down an absolute storm, and Friday night at the Yarrowtel. That one is called that life of crime. It was an absolute pleasure to have the acetones in that town over the weekend. Very very busy set of people because they get it in on kind of Thursday night, played Friday night, played Saturday night, then played Sunday afternoon and then went on my Monday goods. That absolute brilliant band, actually fantastic. Can't argue with them at all. So much so they're great set of people as well. Just love the scar scene. Love playing scar and DUB and rock steady and dental, that tube of stuff. Old, old school stuff. Not My you know, let's Scat punk. That I like, but all the same, absolute and are very professional aute for as well. Anyway, I am going to wake this on. Don't be shy. It's just an absolute classic. These are the Acetones, are out of Auckland, New Zealand. If you get the chance to see him, don't miss him. And the magnificent I'm back...

...with the shack was so both both storming soul work. It break it up too much. Oh Yeah, how good. He's. Dave and an Sol cullins double barrel played that because the a stones do a version of that and it is magnificent. We could play the a stones. Don't be shyed. Before that, you're listen to the sky show with me, beefy. I am having an absolute ball again. We're just flying through. I am just banging these tunes straight Dan your frot. Yes, I am, and they're just going to keep piling on. I really am having too much fun already. On this great Thursday afternoon in Melbourne, it is eighty eight three, sudden FM, the sounds of the bay side, and you're listening to the...

...scut show with me, beefy. It is the greatest scar radio show on the planet. This is your mind as there at a city this is called Montego Bay to meet me with. The key will be in his hand, just the driving a wave sons on the right. So you're letting meet me like a brother. I think I remember it twice as good, like how the rum is from my silver tree just then. So I lay still baby home in bed. Tell you it's time for me to stay at me till I still baby. You Ain't it ast what I said, sorry, yeah, that you would get no hurt. Miss No, no, no, I said, believe with me. Give it to the police men. I wouldn't do that. I do on me. I wouldn't do what. I wouldn't do it that. I'm not a router. Hurt Myself. How I was gonna send what it was wrong. Give it to me due time. Gave it to me three times. To me for time. Give it to...

...me to time. What's mine is yours and what's yours is mine, because we're partners others in cry. No time. Let that is Ed Roam. No, I never heard of me either till not that long ago. The voices on that track. It's called partners in crime, by the way, but it's nevill staple of specials and nevill stable band that he's kicking around now with. So multi instrumentalist. But Ed Rome was done this kind of album called snapshot and it's Got Roader Deca and just loads of different people helping him out. It's amazing, absolutely amazing. kind of got that scaff feel bit early Dub and rock steadies. Just crazy stuff. Is Brilliant. Check them out. Ed Rome Dot Code at UK's English Jamaican Roots, I believe. So. Yeah, he's he was a tutone, kind of bit part helper out, you know, always helped out on bands and their albums and, you know, live if they needed anyone. So yeah, amazing. Just...

...before that, toots on the matels. Fifty Four. Forty six was my number. There was a lot of people's choice in the when we did the best scratchings of all time, when people voted for their favorite tunes, that was right up there. A lot of people vote for that as the most influential Scatchun of all time. And then before that the olders doing their version of Montego Bay, which got them worldwide and recognition. Oh yes, it did. You'll listen to the sky show where me beefy, as always, says day afternoons I'm here to brighten up your day as we get one step closer to the weekend. Out to celebrate. I know it's been a short week, so what better way to celebrate short week than get out and see some live music? These guys are at a street not too sure if they're still playing, but this is an absolute belter. Bit of a tribute to Mr Anthony Bordine that's so sadly took his own life last week. This one is called twelve steps stanclear. Here's a dead man coming through. I got one foot in the grave, the other kicks the Barca for real. That's not all I ever sins, D H of ten. I try to win in different ways, to kill myself, and I'm tired of being a failure. I got a s exceed to bleed. So come on, nothing we should so many people and watch out. Me Alive many times. Make me know I'mself never left. I can't keep promise. Not even any bills on my hill to me my maker. Think we should at all, so many people to meet me at the morning of no return ahead might ride you all Sha your minds before the leave when I can make a turn sweet. So it's a should so many people wanna be first to be saying because I got one shot, one shot left. We should you wanna be first to be. I need to want my brothers, my friend. I got but I...

...believe so what we need and can't, I can't. Gave you that is the closing credits to at an unbelievable TV show on ABC at the minute, Thursday nights, I think thirty, called CLEBS. It's got the best soundtrack of all time. And that's just a closing credits. Should play the opening, the opening song as well, because it's even better. So yeah, absolutely, Brian Oli Julian featuring a vincent nap. If you want to look up the artist, that's called Ik. I saw and just look up plebs theme as well for the other tune, because but all through the show they use classics, scar riffs, as they're kind of break music as well. It's absolutely fantastic. I love it. And bits before that, like I said, out of Sweden, the USCB all stars with twelve steps. You are listening to the scar show with me, beefy, and we are coming up to the news. But after the new state tuned, please keep joining me, because after the news we like to have a little bit of fun. I'll play some covers, some songs you didn't think you would hear in this hole to here, Skar show songs like. Could Be Britney Spears, it could be the BEG's, it could be the rolling stones, it could be queen, it could be anyone, but it's going to be done properly, the way the music should have been done in the first place. Oh yeah, so I like to have a bit of fun there. We'll probably pay a play a bit of Punk rock as well. Have a bit of fun with that. In the meantime, stay tuned. We will be back very, very shortly. This is a band that played on a Friday night. This point. The resons are probably play their tunes a bit later on. These are the Kujo kings. I can out of dirty old cars in...

Well, well, I think I'd probably will. This is a band that kind of burst onto the kind of indie rock scene. Jis what your two thousand and four reckon. I was living back in the UK. Back then they called the ordinary boys. They had a massive album called over the canda culture was absolutely fantastic. This song is a specialist number. There was off that. I think they've made a bit of a comeback couple of years ago after nine years in hiatus. But anyway, this is probably one of the better tracks off that album. In is the specials great, Great Song, Little Bitch. This is the addreary boys. Your body starts with you and your girlfriend. I shot for...

They've played a lot with the night corns and they just, you know, bitter punk, but a rap bit of kind of high up Dane stuff mixed with the scar backbeat. They're absolutely bring love it. Another kind of New Zealand band based in Melbourne, though they were mainly king cannons, a is a live version of call for help. Just breaks my heart when I see that live, that footage and listen to how absolutely brilliant they were on stage and what presence Lut Yo would had fronting up that bend. You never know. Bands are right there struggling for you know, to make ends, mete, to get their music heard through this cacophony of karaoke singers and rick kind of dance music that was just shoved down our throat and it sounds the same wherever you are in the world. So it's great to hear some new stuff. These bands are out of are. I think in Scotland they're called the hostiles. They did send me...
