Keep Yep, stop the complex. This is this is kids, make you dad. This is Ja. We took to see my friend, but we did see no one. It's closed with it. Who Kiss? It's allread gone. So we took his this what we could read. His hometown. Should hand. And when you're only place, we said, I'll see around. Talk to me while I breathe. Love me now before I leave. It's just the spin on it. It's just the spins. It seems such a sin. Time can go so slow. Sometimes go to best and it's The Times you hate. But all always wait while the woman you love don't listen to me while I breathe. It's just the spin on it, just the spin on it. It seems such a sin. Just the SP's just the spin. I'm in such so I crack, crack. Why cry ever...

...night, CRA crap, cry early every night. Why? Wanna Gona? Wanna go? You wanna go? wannaful? UN wanna go? Yes, go and marry. Wanna good thing about you and me. I'M gonna take it, believe, wait, take them. You want me or not to shoot. Rest. Don't rust you my bed. I think you're gonna makes you say that you're not shadow ruby fish and I saw your lies and you're not watching. The weather's coming in and lead US drinking jee the booze sinking. Oh, maybe you're tired. If Joanna spoke a green, it doesn't seem to see what can just looking. Neither wasted. I'm not shadow when I saw lies and you're not watching. Back to the case in hand when playing the band, and at least that's now. Just don't shadow. Yes, you're with the scar show with me, beefy. That was the resignators,...

Melbourne's finest export of pure Punky Scar Rock and roll to touch a soul. Yes, still on a high from the weekend where they played Victorian Ska and reggae a fest in Vancouver, British Columbia? or No, it's in Victoria, isn't it? So it can't be. Thank you. It doesn't matter. They played with the mighty mighty bosstones and Francis was very, very excite. Lots of photos I saw of him with the band and I think he was talking them a little bit, but there you go. That's what happens talking about another Boston band like the mighty and mighty bosstones. Second Up, just before Reson as was Westbank train. When you why you cry. They're out of Boston and we kicked them off with New York's fatness. The slackers spin. I'm in a bit of an old school start there for these this week's scar show. Thank you for joining me. Wherever you are, and it's kind of bleak Midwinter's afternoon on Sudden FM here in the deepest dark is southeastern suburbs of Melbourne. But wherever you are in the world, I hope you're having a brighter day, because the scar show with beefy is your signal that we are one step closer to the weekend. What a weegain is going to be. Can't wait. Like I said, thanks for joining me. You's never been a better time to be in you know, a lover of the scar genre. There is so much happening. Mighty Mighty Boston's got a new album. We just had street like manifest still here Monday at night, and weren't they good? Yes, they were. There's all sorts of things coming out. But why don't we just jump on to the man who was on the show last week, Mr Dan putters? He supported the streetlight a manifesto boys on Monday night. So we'll play one of his shore, one of his songs, Dan p and the bricks. This one's called the show for the seasons, the show, to the show, the show, so the show through the opening struggle. We watched it for croppy acting, studied the show, the show. So Dick it, the show, to show, the show, so the show, the show, the show, show into the show, show the show. Dick into the show, the show, the show. So Dick into the show, to the show when the rests the show. I don't wanna know where you spend the night,...

...because if I was alone, then baby, my little friend him, whom it's a because that's the way I'm rich. It seems supers your way. Drys got daddy through. Believe these things. I'm sad I don't possessive a little. I might happy. That's the way I to you a little. That's where I drew with the lines. Keep everyone and Almbi. I asked you one. I told you twice. ...against the life. Things gone to I'm losing. The Sun makes some annoying. You make some NY and joy and dump to way to great. I'm brad that is the unmistakable sounds of pauling black and the selector. That is called daylight. It's a title track off their new album. Please get it because it is absolutely fantastic. Your play a lot of tracks off that new album and it is not a bad track from start to fish in it finish. It really is. Before that we heard the pietasters with don't want to know and Damn podcast and his bricks. With the show. Got To say Dan was absolutely fantastic on a Sunday down at Dandon brewery. Did a couple of sets down there and then Monday nights supported street like manifesto and didn't he get the crowd going. It was fantastic to see great crowd for a Monday night as well in the in the city. Street one manifesto just played straight through. No Chat, no banter, just banged out the tunes for an hour and a half. Absolutely phenomenal. I don't think Thomas said two words in all in all, in all honesty, there was no general Chitchat they just played straight through because there and they just got off a plane like the day before, and the plane for for gigs and for nights and then going back. It's a pretty phenomenal effort. So yes, absolutely brillant. You'll listen to the scar show with me, be for you'RE ON SUDDEN FM. Eight, eight three, those sweet, sweet, sweet scarce sounds of the bay side. Yes, indeed, he well, this is a band out of the UK. They're not really around anymore. For a very short while they were absolutely brilliant. These boys are called Zen Baseball, Pat Zen Baseball Bat. I'm going to put my teeth in so I can probably do the rest of the show. This is called falling enough brown cows of Elocution funks...

...straight from the finish comepusy today, so hot. Something don't my heart should like a melon, not offer I should when the sun things. I did.

This great goose hating, flapping its wings, drying off the pry open my life. Sixty tell tale side of the night I had before an Mary my market, my blood shot eyes and angry man, nothing at my door, a whiskey drink, her bourbon smiles, toes, to change, broken glass lifts, to change promises, a promise, and I promise myself to modify and make a man's but of the city or a sirens sound and I need to buy myself a friend. Please, please, please, me for stopplease. I know you're whispering in my ears. I can taste it, wanna hold it, need to feel it. Power and the moon is whiskey. Drink for Bourbon smiles. Chose to change, to change. A friend of mine he wrote in run the queen of Hearts wins every time he was on the ass in a bloke. Drink for burbon smile. My chases. To change glass, to change. No, I can't believe you now.

It's so low. I can still remember how you and I saying and I love you, but change the things I can now it's time for us to start something, but not the time to be good bye. Yes, for my friend, and I know that will never change us. Be Care. We is back the things we've shared the best. Yes, yeah, straight from the Philippines. Yes, the Philippines. There is a band called scabecky and I had to play him again this week because last week I had a...

...bit of an unfortunate error when I was playing that track and I kind of slipped my hand and I pressed stop halfway through their track. So I do apologize and I didn't have to plead, plead for their forgiveness all the way from the Philippines and are. So I've made it up to him a little bit by playing one of their Chunes Hand Nice is it, though, is very relaxing. I was just chilling away here in the studio, but scibecky out of the Philippines, I want is called part of me. I'll be playing more of Scubeki as we go on. Before that, no nonsense, Melbourne, never doing that again. I love that's got a bit of the beer. theyked ladies about it. That track. I do kind of like that. And then what do we have? Our Bazookas out of Amsterdam in Holland, another lands in the WEGGA. Love that Bazookas. They were here last year. They did a little bit of a quiet tall and turned up, but I think I play the gas emiter or something very strange one of those small pubs. But the Bazooka is very funny. They love their scar music. They're a bit upbeat and that's the way we like it, isn't it? Just like you know, scubeky did get in touch through facebook about playing their music. So if you are in a band, no matter where you are in the world. Please, please, please, send me a tunes and I will play them because I love discovering new bands. I love listening to all the different takes on scar throughout the world and I will get it on, give you some airplay and hopefully it's spread the scar wood across the planet because, as you all know, this is the greatest scar radar show on the planet, I get told regularly by my mum. That's about it. What are we gonna do? We're coming up to the news. This is first house absolutely flown by it always does. I am going to play. I'm going to play the porkers. No, I'm not, I'm gonna be yeah, sorry, I'm course I'm going to play the porkers. This is their latest single, their first new music for ten eleven years. This one is called make Hay. It is an absolute belter. Here it is Pete and the boys make Hay. Or was that the time? Not Enough Coffee, too much memories? DRINK? I thought it was always to people on the whole way. Thought you were stuck looking flow away to get remnge. I could have done it easy, but I'm thinking back away. Some special make me sick was for the job. I Guess Ida last special think make me sick was right for the job. There's something. I'm the...

...train going on around this place. Things on the same here. There's too much to rumors going round, too many one behind me. Once Weif friends. Suddenly your monives are revealed. There's nothing left to be explained. In the back and all your way. Come on, Dawn. Now things can never be the same. Don't tell me you didn't meet me any hard. Don't try to. Just the find. Wise does it feel to see your welcome crashing down? Next move is you'll. It's through all Dar I to you. You can't do. I save yourself. There's nothing left for you to do. Choice is yours. It's me for you can't do I ride. How good is arisome? Just how good a I save yourself, one of my favorites. So she took to way on. Come well, the album scool so called. Say it to my face. You know what? Two Thousand and one. Oh my God, two thousand and one. That's seventeen years ago. Some belts on their leave me alone. Now. I know individuality, and of course nobody likes a Bogan. is on that CD say to what? Seventeen years I feel old now. I really do feel old. Anyway. It is Thursday afternoon. We are one step closer to the weekend. Yes, we are, and you know, in the second hour of the show we do like to have a little bit of fun. We're gonna have a lot more fun this week. Going to play some covers, songs you didn't expect to hear in a different way of doing it, mainly with a scar or punk feel to it. We are going to be talking to Jake Kylie of strung out as well. At some stage. I've got a gigs done, not just a GIG, couple of gigs in Melbourne and Frankston this weekend, Saturday and Sunday. So we're going to be talking...

...to him and we're just going to be doing the same old stuff, playing a few scar tunes, a few punk tunes and just making that one step closer to the weekend. Oh, yes, we are. Anyway. I had a request for this because I haven't heard it for a long time. This is the specials this is message to you, Rudy, messing around future, treating problems. I Miss I miss this to you tis right out. I think about future. I Miss I miss messing around your future problems to you, but the don't's every place when I come back a way. ...another new media. Can you hear the sound of the series, the sublime of my Fuck America? UND well, maybe I'm faget about part of the Red Nest. Attention Follow Erican Idiot, one that you controlled by the media information. They going out to it. Yes, welcome back to the second hour of the scar show with beefy. Thanks for joining me. We are in the most popular segment of the show generally. People talk to me about this all the time. This is the cover's bit and that is actually brand new last couple of weeks. That is the interrupters, the absolutely fabulous interrupters doing green days, American idiots. Now those two bands of very good friends, because interrupters of supported Green Day quite a bit. They did on the last Australian tour. Played a lot side show at the gas went to a hotel, a lot of fun, a lot of fun, and we did leaving on the jet plane as well. Dr Raju, thank you for joining us. We gonna play into some more more punky covers than anything else, and then hopefully we can get in touch with a Mr Jake Kearley of strung out. Hopefully I can get that sordid anyway, thought I do a bit of an Australian cover. First, Missy Higgins. Yes, missy Higgins. We love a bit of missy on the scar show. This is a band from the act loss of Capatani's play every now and again, but not too often, but this is one of the best covers. Punk rock, punk,...

...scar, Ska Punk, whatever you want to call it, covers of a kind of piano bassed tune you will ever get. This is scar, this is lost Kappatanis this one. Could you leave me, William, don't, one by one inside. I'll never give you lit. Nobody damn well, doesn't make you wonder. Cross the hole, make sh the way things could breath. Roger Race, never really know when it was alway. Yeah,...

So hand me down my best tress shoes and my best treasure, because I'm going out in style to cover the I wanna do all day is spended in bed, but that's bad for the body and even worse for my head. So I find a place where no one will ask me and they it'll help me forget and help me to say, because I'm scared myself. I'm scared. Wanted to wake up from your dreaming. It scared you so bad you couldn't droll your heart or you're breathing. It will walk out on the floor. I guess we longer cousin. I scaled the dollar bill for every time. It's ability reason with...

...was born. Now we will long nowhere. I got a place to far without chat. It's plays like these make exces. No, we can have all this. If then takes it away, we still do more. When close your eyes back to the towns of this symbol, while I see in the trouble with the name I breen made away a time surrounded by the talkers. Bread would breaks up town where I was, because you and I there's no place to post, just time. It's days like these one sense they seem to know we can have all takes it away, we still more. Close Your eyes back to the towns, the ships, a duster and the sun jacket will say. That's say no place to live without. We can handle this. Your eyes to the town, baby, were its speed a grace. They sails still the one. This expressive way to strain they let gets to stop. There's too many people sitting down and just flew to this...

...seats. Want to see a few more people. I've been getting into it. This one's that our home town in Melbourne. It's called gray skies of a calling wood, Gray stars. Who is it? WHOA? And it's all that lay stars play star? WHOA small shots could be Dan Grace Gus, this guy. Whoa someone is the Whoa such a know what she lives? WHOA? And I answered by guys. WHOA stars could be dance grace guys. This guy. Whoa someone is me? Who is the street for the old? WHOA? You can still hear people say stars, sky. WHOA SMOKE STARTS TO PLAY SKYS? Because it's bruce boots hern's birthday today. Congratulations, Mr Hearne. Hope you're having a great, great day celebration in this Midwinter Haze that we've got here over Melbourne really it's grace guys over Collingwood, isn't it? They were the two songs, great guys over collingwoods and something like that. So, Bruceie, I hope you have a good night and we look forward to kind of catching up with your new tunes later in the year because I know the album's finished. I know it's just about to be mastered and sent back to Australia for full on release and we are quite excited by that and, as Bruce keeps tell us, it's the best stuff they've ever done. You haven't heard for me really in this second hour because we have been desperately trying to connect to Jake Kylie of strung out. Now he's US mobile just unfortunately keeps dropping out. Don't know a why that maybe. So we're yeah, really, really sorry we couldn't get jake to is quite excited about this Australian toy. It's a fairly extensive, extensive tour. They've been in Queens on this week and now they're tracking down through New South Wales. There at the factory theater in Sydney tonight, narrow being of all places. Tomorrow then Saturday night Croxton hotel. Get your ticket. It's going to be an absolute belter. The French Ston Pelly bar on that Sunday and then Wednesday and I'd like Thursday, bumbary in Western Australia, Fridays at Hillary's in Perth, or north of Perth I should say, and then Saturday night to finish everything off there at the hell hole in Perth. Now, if you've not seen Strang out before, and they play on festivals absolutely every are there. They are very, very talented musicians, even though they're kind of hard core punk rockers. What a show, what a show. They don't leave anything out there on stage, that is for sure. What is interesting is always been recognized as the kind of the kind of the best musicians of the hip punk genre. They have just released an album called black out the sky and it's like an eight tracker but it's all acoustic and it's absolutely fantastic. If you'd never heard this band before you put this on, you think it's kind of edgeering esque type, but it's, you know, melodic, but there's got a lot of deep lyrics and everything else. But in terms of that it is a great listen. So please check out black out the sky. I since I got a copy. Yeah, I listened to it a very, very regularly. It's it's an absolute joy to the ears, it really is. We'll probably...

...go out with presidio off that album. Just to say. We played quite a bit of strung eight today. Actually played a little bit earlier. The examination of Virginia medicine I played and then a town of Coras am, which is off this blackout the sky album. That's an absolute belter. We've had all sorts. I if you if I've missed back in an see, which I have, because I've been trying to connect this phone call. Please jump on the facebook page. Just look up the scar show with beefy. All the playlists are there. So if you have heard a tune today that I have an announced, please look it up. The full replay of the show will be on as well. Just a lot of music and not much beefy because we have been on the phones. I've tried ten times to get it and the one time we did connect the delay was so huge it wasn't going to make good rater than I try to ring him back on a different line and can't get him because it keeps dropping out. Anyway, mighty mighty bosstones just played with the resonators, or I should say the other way round, but we like to say the resonators was supported by the bosstones. They have a new album out. It is brilliant, absolutely back to their best. We've been playing tunes off it for last couple of weeks, but I thought we keep going and play different tune again. This one is called closer to know where. It is off the boss stones new album. Get it, check it out now. A little bow. Somehow I supposed to can be nowhere right now, a little bit closer to nowhere. A little boat somewhere, somehow nowhere. Up on a beautiful once, I see the rose beats around a neck. I dream cut your belt Bell, tapestry. That was a whack. Struck the same through a copy of me. Pray I didn't trudge, you know, I don't. Sometimes just a little bit nowhere, a little somewhere. Somehow I supposed to be nowhere. Right now, a little where. Somehow I supposed to be nowhere right now. Where now? No idea when you know wherehow, mighty mighty boss stones, closer to nowhere? Well, we've flown through this last hour because basically I haven't said anything. We're just played music, and that's what makes this station great. Give us a log on facebook. Stay tuned after the news. Greg with a rock dwan is up next. It is a pity we couldn't have got Jake Kylie from strung out then you. Album is called black out the sun. It is acoustic, which is a very different from hardcore punkers. But please get out and see them this weekend. If you don't see strung out, please get out see any local band. Please support your local live music scene. It is what makes this city tick. Our support of live music is secon and none and that's why the bends do it. They do it for our pleasure. Get Out, have a point, have some fun with your...
