You wonderful scars. I'm falling black. Allegedly, I am the Queen of Scar I'm here in Melbourne. You're listening to the star show with Beafy, and I've got him right beside me and I'm feeling it. Don't watch this. This is the heavy, heavy monster song, the nutsy songs, a roll whoas stop the POMPLEX. This is is make you. This is why we have been where we are going in it might not be with it. No ways. This, let me say, for the race to one of the day. What I wonder why it was we wander where firmly we were granted. It's a wonderful day, what a wonderful every day? Until it's done, I'm chalking the humane my friend on the shoulder. Just gotta pray...

...your hand. U. Oh yeah, does the means justify the end?...

Of course it does. That's what you're here. Yeah, you are listening to the sky show with me. Be for it is eighty eight three. Sudden FM bringing you your weekly Dose of Sky Music, with a bit of Punk, bit a Skart Punk, bit of Reggae, bit of roots, bit, a dub bit of all sorts thrown in for good effect. Just to make your journey to the weekend just that little bit nicer, a little bit funkier and a little bit happier. Yes, I'll try every week to bring that little bit of joy into your lives through the medium of that sweet scam music. Thank you for joining me, wherever you're on the will. That was, by the way, out of Northern Ireland, Northern Ireland, Belfast, to be exact aggressors BC. That is life one hundred and one. And you may recognize the opening band. They're called the mighty mighty bosstones. They're from Boston, in New England, Massachusetts, you United States America. They are one of the most wellknown bands in the world of scam music now days because of the impression that I get that huge worldwide hit single. But that is a new one. Yes, it is. That's a new single from the mighty mighty bosstones. That is called a wonderful day for the race and I can tell you straight up the bat. June fifteen. There's a new album and new mighty mighty bosstones album is called. While we're at it, everyone is quite excited. Fifteen tracks. Starts off with a track called Green Bay, finishes with he kept mum. Yes, it does. Anyway, we will be playing that you some you tunes as they merge, as soon as we possibly can, because we know it is going to be bloody awesome and you never know, with a new album they could be a world tour. I'm not a crossing my fingers on that. I'm not holding my breath. We can only hope that the most, the mighty mighty boss down boys will get to Australia sooner rather than later. They are playing a Victoria SCA and reggaefest in Canada next month with a very good friends, the resignators, on the same bill. Yes, the results are supporting the mighty mighty bosstones in Canada? Yes, they are. So that will be a very, a very good I'm sure we'll hear all sorts of stories from our man in the know, Mr Francis Harrison. So that theyre I can tell you. Actually they're very, very excited. The just in name some dates in Mexico to go on that tour. So they are playing all the way across Canada and they are playing. Then they nip down to Mexico for some gigs. So, hey, why don't we play a resignator's tune, just to kind of get us in the mood. Anyway, this is case. This is one of my favorite is one of their good scat numbers. This is called fish out of water. The thing about you and me, I'm gonna take heavily. Wait to take them. You want me or not. Just fucking rest. Don't rust you, not bed. I think you're gonna mess. You say that you're not ruby fish when you're not watching the weather's coming in and lead drinking, Gee, the boozing. Maybe you're tired. If Joanna Spoken, it doesn't seem of seeking. Just look at me and wasted. I'm not fish, shadow fish when I saw you back to the case in hand, when playing the bed. At least that's a father. Sometimes you now just tell me the truth. I am and everything I said.

It's true that you say by myself the shadow will you know shadows nobody places to places rest one street lights are blighting and keep places forever, making free, free, free, free, free. That's my dad's but it's stunn. You cannot see, you cannot free. Nelson Mandela. Dad is...

...the specials or the Special Aka, mainly because Jerry Damas, who is the founder of two term records as well, as we all know and love. And basically he wrote that song as an obviously a protest song. Coss it is a protest song but unbelievably it was jerry a damas sixty three birthday yesterday. So happy birthday, Jerry Damas. So I played free Nelson Mandela. It's got an amazing back story. Free Nelson Mandela, you probably don't realize you're produced by Elvis Costello, I think Karen Wheeling of Salter Soul She's one of the singers. And basically, even though Linville golding had left the specials and they were carrying on under Jerry's stewardship, he got invited back. But rankin Roger and Dave Wag Glyn, who are from the beat, who also fell out, by the way, they play on the mute on the record as well. So it's just an amazing kind of conglomerate and of differing kind of attitudes and Egos, but they all came together for this protest song and it did great things and it's a synonymous now with Jerry Damas and everything else. And he admits based in about one thousand ninehundred and eighty four and that song was first released. He had no idea who Nelson Mandela was at that time. So we're quite amazing. So absolute anthem. So Demos will be remembered for a long time. Not only is the founder of two time records in a key member of the specials in the S S, but for riding and getting that song out there and on the air ways, absolutely brilliant. Before that we had the simmer tones, are are UK band at a Devon are Talky, I think they're from, but that is brand new, released just the other day. It's called traveling man. Now they're got a new album coming out called ten feet tall. Please check them out on facebook. They were a band that sent me their music. Guys, if you're in a band and you want your music on the air waves, please, please, please, send it to me. I will listen and I will play it because I just love getting new music. You can contact us through the facebook page. Just look up the scar show would be for you. The scar shown sudden their firm. You will find us. Please get in touch. I love hearing from people anywhere on the planet. So Yep, that...

...was the simmer tones. So check them out and then we kick at little section off with the resignators. Course we did. They are going to play a couple of shows around and and then before heading off to Canada and Mexico. All right, we'll just keep the music flowing. Of course we will. Anyway, what else we got? We have got. This is a bally who. This is called battle cry. Got Maybe I shoot? Don't change the station head. You're spinning your promise that you'll be okay. You don't want the night's Day. You know why. He is gonna be start. Maybe I should take my own, but maybe I should take my own. I am blessed. I want to knocking on the door. How I wish I never asten to. How can I say what? I just see to know, to know we will meet you in a voice too, by a piers and the pizza pass by. How can I don't go? Have...

...you heard the news? They say to clean it professional head. Is the woman you came to the right a dress. I get rid of all that mess. They all fear my name. From here to kingdom, calm, you'll need a para, my scientist, who will face the frightening apparitions without fear. Oh yeah, I as I certain by specialism, whiskey team rum. I'll make the spirits disappear. In even during California, there was some good old friends of mine. They suspecting some malicious gulls in their own cellar of wine, from the grim's right to the drinks I can't refine. Don't wake it cakes now. They haven't had that spirit there since one thousand nine hundred and sixty nine am sciences. Who will face the frightening operations without fear? I as a circuit fight. Special Whiskey Chin Rob. I'll make the spirits disappear. Who will face the brightening operations without fear? I am certain.

Special Whiskey Chin Rob. I'll make the spirits disappear. I said I size the trait, but that's to tell you to move. Your light starting on the floor. Gonna blow. Move Me. One thing more. This place is going rock. You notice it's for real. Sparta out of trump, rosy may these. No, it's totally there is no doubt. That's a red to tell you stream and shout of your brain. We're having such good this is for real. Scot of all the drinks. Tonight's Barton audio tonight. Spot all the gay olds tonight. Spot all of you tonight. Yeah, one of my favorite tunes at the minute Dell epen, the DABS ad off Perthay, is their new single. It's called spot on. Absolutely brilliant. Love it take you back to the old twotone days at and Dil. It tells me that the the scar scene in Perth is absolutely booming at the minute and there's bands coming up bed of everywhere. Even the clubs are staying to play old school scare and, you know, scar punk stuff all the time, which is great. There is a fewer in fremantle. Third of June there is a kind of rocking steady scaffest gig happenings at the Railway Hotel Ben's like Dillup in the debs. They're playing one of another one of...

...our favorites, special Bru they are playing as well. Might play a special brute true tune. I will. I'm going to play a special brute tune in a minute. Who Else is playing? Little Pedro Choking Stanley, scalper, the units and a load of DJ's and stuff. So if you're in Perth, get along to that on long weekend. Over there we get the long weekend. The weekend after, I think. Anyway, that should be fantastic. Before that we had Doctor Ring Ding out of Germany. That's called the exhaustist. Then a band from Brisbane who no longer play together, unfortune, and played for a long long time. They call wiseacre. How can it be? That was an end. We kick that section off with bally, who there at a Maryland usay. That one is called a battle cry. They're also doing a huge tour at the minute, summer tour, I think they called it. They are everywhere over the states. Our Dr Ringing as well. He's been around a long time. Think he's in Mexico supporting the busters right now or next week, very very soon. Anyway, back to the music. Thanks for joining me. You are listening to the Scot show. We meet beefy. It is the sounds, those sweet, sweet scare sounds of the bay side. Suner FEM eighty eight three. You've heard us on your radio dial. You've heard us on the Internet, wwwa. You can hit us on tune in, you can hit us on anything you like. Absolute fantastic. Well, I said I was going to play a at Special Bruce Song. This is quite funny. It's called a Vegi might wake up in them morning looking for breakfast. What am I gonna put on my toes? You hope that you might go downstairs and look in the cupboard. I'm sad to see that the cupboard is bare. You might take out the toast and put it on the counter. Got To get to the shops before it gets cold. I'm down at the shops and reading the label I've had. The seacraft is owned by American. You might think back to the days when had an Australian SA. You See, the thing about veniamine is that it used to be a holy Australian armed and produced piece of product, but now every time you spread that beautiful black stuff over, you just actually send money to American company, because Croft to put up by the yanks ago, and now every time we have this Australian I canna breakfast wonderment. You're actually giving money to a bunch of yanks fly far across the sea and Australians getting up, gave some foreign and he took one bite and send him and how can you eat this shit? I spread it very thinly, but he still said, I mean it is made salt. I was pretty Bun by Americans. I thought that I would try the English equivalent form. Might I have a car with a slip differential? Well, I use instead of axle grease. Might this is our Christmas treat from you guys. It is this scar version by Clarence walking in the air. Oh, that is quite amazing.

It's more known as a Christmas Sie actually said theme tune from an animated film back in the age called the snowman. And you probably remember aled Jones, that Welsh kind of youthful tenor. I think he was in a know it was a ten a user, Soprano or whatever it is, I don't know. He did the theme Chol Walking, and that is the smearing's antisocial club, not necessarily Scabin, but they've done a scar version or instrumental kind of in the kind of in in the theme of the Scat Lights. kind of that Vibe, isn't it? Absolutely Bro I love it. I'd play it regularly. You know, even though we think it's a Christmas song, it's not a good old scat tune. So hopefully the smearings will do some more scar numbers because I actually do like them. Before that special brew with vegem might their own Perth. Quite funny. I don't think our American friends may get that one, but they kind of do. Know about Vegam and how kind of fifty it is. You O love it. Oh yeah, Hey, it's just the way it is, isn't it? Well, anyway, you listen to Scutuo a beefy regularly as well. Now, after the news, we like to have a little bit of fun. We like to play some cover some songs that you may or may not here on an everyday basis, but they have been redone, they've been done better, they've been done more, more ear friendly. In fact, they've been done in a scark on a way to make them better, the way they should have been done in the first place. So that's a bit of firmer play, a bit of Punk Rock and whatever else. Take my fancy, because we are one step closer to the weekend. We having a little bit of fun, so please stay tuned. Listen to this last tune before the break. What are we going to play? We're gonna play Eli Whitney and the same machine. This is called collapse. Last night make a best all. Well,...

I would say I'm sorry. I thought that you would change your mind, but I know that this time my hand said too much, been too unkind, so I tried to laugh about it, cover it all up with lies. Yeah, I try to laugh about it, hiding that is in my eyes. I would say I'm sorry if I thought that it would change your mind, but I know that this time I have said too much. I'm into a kind. So what you do? Laugh about it, cover all over with lies. Yeah, I try to laugh about it, hiding the Bas in my eyes, because boys, I would break down at your feet and baby forgiveness, plead with you, but I know that it's too late and now there's nothing I can't do. So I you do laugh about it. Yeah, I try to laugh about it, hiding the tast in my eyes, because boys don't. I would tell you that I loved you if I thought that you would stay, but I know that it's too late and you've already gone away. Any bitch you get you back by my side, but I just keep on laughing and hiding the taste in my eyes, because boys don't. She's creams inside the selling Ritter, treaded to her mind,...

...pass with the bricks of control. That's a feeling like that until she's figured out all her doubts were somewhat else. is point of Wei's, the silence with the breakers of control until my kids. Yeah, welcome back to the scar show with me, beefy. Thank you for joining me on this auspicious of occasions. It's not really auspicious to do this every week. That was the mad caddy's doing green days. She in a rather spanking twotone feel make KEDDI's have gotten new album. They've teamed up with Fat Mike of no efx to release this new album. It's all covers. Any what's the album called? Punk rock steady it is called, and there is a load of tunes off their bad religion, no effix and and who else is on the obviously green day. So that is coming out Du Fifteen, I think. So that is happening. Be Aware of that. They that was she and that got released a couple of weeks ago. They have just released a no effects song because obviously fat Mike is involved, so they decided they were going to fit a and no effect song and I will play that for you in a minute. We kicked off the air with Melbourne's finest scaband. Amongst all the other ones area seven Steve, Oh, I know you're listening. Hello. Hi, just celebrate a birthday as well. That was the cures. Boys don't cry, it is the scary show. With me, beefy, we...

...are one step closer to the weekend and, like I said, this is another man Ketty's tune. This is no effects is. She's gone. The black wigs were remained. The flame was blown out. Just recently the candle had start to the stick. It won't bet again. The day will be quite as ground. We don't know. Let's see me. All we know is what you left behind. I apartment clatter with children, photos of good times on the window. There's a four posed. That for the reason. All the shore there's a box full of secrets. They want me. The boys and girls with play will that behind. She's gone, all right, not for me. She's gone. It's all right. She's silly. Behind the scholar. WHIF, in the silence is someone calls you as a best screaming. No one listened. Nothing's gone. That's not happy, all right, nothing's gone. That's not miss. Not for mess. She's gone. Well, someone don't yesterday, when your love, you just don't care. You going somewhere. Well, I get to dance myself. Welcome to this...

I remember being. I was standing by side in the heels of a can of stand. You are and you stand much stills, too tall. I'm watching as your rights when you're better around you the voice inside to give you courage. I was right behind you and they led you to the dog and I was lying down with you when they turn the loop went on. The pages and the letters you send home. The loneliness is a killer, but you'll never on your own the voices that I was looking over you when the doctors called you in it. You struggle with the use you had to get. Then there's no shaming faith. That is amazingly, that is cock Spara, a band, kind of a punk band, that never really had much, really any, any commercial successor though all this songs, but covered very, very regularly. They have been around, honestly, since one thousand nine hundred and seventy two and most four out of the five members of the band...

...and the original members, and they're still playing now. And that song, every step of the way, is a their new single. Oh yes, indeed, that's like what are they? That's forty six years have been playing together. Amazing and they, like I said, that's a new single. So absolutely brilliant. Love playing cocks bear. They headline festivals all the time and yet, like I said, they've never had any genuine success. But from London, just amazing. They keep pumping out music. And before that we had the locos there at of Spain doing them bobby mcferrin's. Don't worry, be happy. We kicked it off with them. Kedd he's covering no effexes. No, no, it's the hippos, wasn't it? The Hippo's first doing. The place is so lonely. I love that version. And then Matt caddy's doing no effexes. She's gone. You are listening to the sky show with me, beefy. You on eighty eight three sudden FM. We are the sweet sounds of the bay side. Course you are. Thanks for joining me. We are one step closer to the weekend, so hopefully you're enjoying the sursday afternoon. It is an apple. One step into winter, isn't it getting cold in Melbourne? But hopefully we can brighten up your little afternoon here and just make it all worth while. This is another English band, Barstool preachers. This is also quite new. This is called all the broken hearts. Use the drinker, not much of a boyfriend, and the jobs. It is kind of turned. She was only so hard on the heart. She had a bad expact. Yes, should be running about a million harpies later. The science size something. She doesn't know why she likes it. She says it must be loved heart you. How is this at night? She says he makes a fust. So I guess with a tear out. She was run some more the dawning. I want to be...

...serious. For why they stepping outside your stay with me. Sometimes laxed is better stress. The days get take much more. But I'm showing the police type given the stay with me, Kuza Kuzm. That is steel syndicate eight...

...piece at a Brisbane. They do all sorts of different styles of music. I dare say they do have a new single a it's called hours at the minute, but it's quite a bit away from scar but that that one's called where I need to be. I love it. I love that tune. It's absolutely fantastic. So a lot of varied mixing. What they do there out of Brisbane, and so every now and again I slot one in that's close to what fits in with what we do here. Before that Melbourne Scar Orchestra and Nicky bomber and all the boys and girls from the Melbourne Scary UK. So they are doing their single a week and number twenty. Yes, this is the twenty week of the year already there is the theme from game of thrones. They did the flint stones last week. All you game of thrones friends, I'm sure you'll appreciate that I've never seen an episode, so I don't know what's going on. Couldn't recognize the theme for game of thrones if you put me in the show. Honestly, no idea. BASTIL preachers. Before there all the broken hearts. Actually, YEA Melburn Scoring Orchestra nacing whole series of gigs as well. I think they just a nate nast Adelaide for next month. Nikki bomber is going to be playing up in Sunshine Coast at the scar vessel up there as well next month to so keep watching out for gigs with them. They seem to be playing a lot more wriggly than they have been, which is absolutely fair. Bloody Test Dick. Oh Yeah, anyway, let's keep moving along.
