...save ferris kicking off the scar show with me, beefy live on Thursday afternoons sudden FM, those sweet, sweet scarce sounds of the bay side. Thanks for joining me. What a wonderful Thursday it is, and Thursday can only mean one step closer to the weekend. It's nearly a long weekend as well as in it Melbourne town. Almost who's actually working on Monday? Is Anyone working on Monday? No, Coss in our well, some people might be. For All the listeners around the world. We have a day off on Tuesday for a horse race. Yes, we do. So not many people actually work Monday. If they do, they don't actually work, they just turn up. That's just in Melbourne, by the way. That's not all around Australia. But yeah, we're like to have a bit of fun. I think we are the only city state in the world that has two days off a year for sporting events. We have a day off before the USSE rules grand final just to say, yeah, it's a grand farm tomorrow, and we have a day offer horse race the first Tuesday in the revember of the Moment Cup and below. Is any other country on the planet have days off of Sports? I don't know. Anyway, we like to have some fun, don't we? We get to enjoy it. We really do get to enjoy it. Thursday afternoon it's scar time. It really is scare time. Thanks for jumping in, thanks for jumping on board. I am your host, beef, and for the next couple hours I'll be taking you through some scar tunes from all over the planets. Yes, we are. We kick this off, as we do with the shows nowadays, with a little mini, a live set there was from say, Ferris California's own, with super spy, the world is new, and then finishing off with come on, Eileen, still going strong? Say First I think their debut EPS like one thousand nine hundred and ninety six. So what's that? Twenty two years had quite a few lineup changes. Have more of late, obviously, but my ny still going, so that a great voice. Still enjoying ourself, still loving the scar scene. We were all over the vans what tour this year. But hopefully, you never know, they might one day get to Australia. Let's hope so. Let's hope so indeed. Anyway, we got loads of stuff to get through and this just stuff coming out left, right and center. Anyway. This let's just jump straight into the stuff. Get accused of not doing things from kind of old times. Anyway, this is I think this is Jim and Ben. There's no sports, but he goes by the name of Rudy Vissa. This is called letter in the mail lorliness something in Golf. Get Strom, I really this time. I'm the moment...

...when capture fingers you can't get back like a letter. In the worst things you can't get back like a letter. I try to call you time, but you did as which a boy for your door calls alone, because to play the moment, you can't be catture things you can't get back like at the worst. which things you can't get back, like at wing? You gone back like a lot the worst which you read when you don't get back like a lot since you. And yes, the hot knives with don't go...

...away. Do love that. She's very nice. It's just very pleasant. Just tickles. Yeah, all the way through, doesn't it's fantastic. Before that, Rudy Vissa should looked up what bandy was in while I was on. I'm pretty sure there's no sports, but it could have been Mr Review. But that song was called letter in the mail. I'm pretty sure he's German. Really Visa, but I could be just totally making that up. Is other German or Dutch? Sorry, I should give you more information, but clearly, clearly, I'm just not up to it. Really am not up to it. There we go, but of an old school start today. Thanks for joining me, wherever you are in the wild, you listening to the scar show with me. beefy coming live at your from Melbourne Australia. Oh Yeah, Melbourne Australia, the center of the sky, universe. Bill. Okay, this is the best Gar shown the play. I just got told this week people from overseas, now only the UK, don't just you know, they don't Miss It. I am quite honored to have your attendance, your ears, your listenership long may it continue. Anyway, there we go. There's my patronizing banter to kick things off. I'm loving life today. Why wouldn't you care? We're November already. Can you believe it? Absolutely in November. Crazy old years just flying so quickly. It's just madness, absolute madness. Anyway, let's go closer to home. This is resonators. This is a single from earlier this year. This is called Party dates. Its off their new album. Please check them out. They're going great guns on the trouble Jay and earth charts right now. Homegrown, but they are from all over. Victory. Actually. They have got a few gigs coming up towards the end of the year to celebrate well, one Halloween to Christmas, three New Year and the fact that they're on the Woodford Folk Festival lineup. They're playing for straight days up there, so that's going to be absolutely exciting. From anyway, this one is earlier this year, coming later this last year, earlier this year. I can party dates along.

Here's a game, and now he's in this. Whose got a brother? Now, as in, I'm s good it all again and I can barely stand to watch this band on stage. I'm hitting the wall again and out it all just seems like the good my dreaming at work again and I wanting stoking feeling. Is How you like say goodbye to the man, to another empty bottle of rock. Spent the whole weekend drunk because nothing is fun anymore. Throws some blue on the tube around it and watch a movie we hit and that maybe we've all seen before. Pass out the same. There's no one to blame by ourselves, God and Irel. Look in the middle of...

...work, judge the people we know UN till they're not even friends anymore. overrated sights that they boot. Treat it all as a joke. Look at them differently than before. Ourselves. What we have for reserving wonder day where you slay as Uman. It all again and I can barely stand to watch this band on Stach on hitting the wall again and out it all just seems like they goodbye dreams. Sitting at work again, just broking feeling. Say Goodbye to the behind deadlines. We all will always be on deadlines. They're at of Philadelphia in the United States America. They playing a show. If you're in Philadelphia and November fifteen with mustter plug who good to see them out and about. Hopefully they'll get down Australia fairly soon before that. The absolute legends that are toots on the maytowels with pressure drop and our own resume is with party dates to the matels, are currently on tour in the UK. Up Play some keptain accident a bit later, because captain accident. have supported those guys all across the UK. What a GIG that's turn out to be. By all accounts, awesome. Good to see toots and the mataels that I mean legendary, obviously legendary. Why wouldn't they be? What else we got coming? Just let's want to play some music today. Just took back, relax, enjoy doing stuff. This is what are we going to play? Dance all crashes. He wants me back back. For me, it's living my life with me and my own way to be alone. And you realize love me more. Well, I'm t about me. I remember how...

...it used to be and all the things you said to me. You always stop me Aright till the killing screen. Why is is the way we have to be? Tell me. They say that they do. I can't believe it happened. I took my time while taking it through, taking for facts what they said. It was you. I can't accept it. You always had a smile on your face. I never thought you'd be a criminal case until I saw your face on my TV. Was A job for entertainment. Because now you face solitary. Can find me the way, happy to tell me Your name outside. What am I to do when you call? How...

...you when you when you call, you wanna, when you call? Is the original ruled by a Neville staple. What his wife Sugary, and that is when you call my name. Before that I mentioned must have plug a play in Philadelphia November fifteen with beyond deadlines. So I thought I'd played Mr Smiley just to cheer U Sawder and then at a Berkeley California dance, all crashes with he wants me back now playing nevil stable. There is news, but unfortunately it's not good news that we want to know from Neville's point of view. But it's great news for the scars scene because the specials Terry Hall in will Golden Horace, pander and anyone else wants to join in. Apart from nevill stable. They're releasing a new album February. The first two thousand and nineteen. It's slated for release. They're going to be a at tour as well to accompany the new album. Track list things are already out, so it means it must have recorded something. Let's have a look. Track listings. Are Black skinned, blue eye boys. That's the equals. Punk band. I think they were punk band. Probably more on have been roots or something soul funky. Yeah, I don't know what you can't remember. BLM, not sure that is. Vote for me. The lunatics. I'm just wondering whether that is a version of the lunatics are taken over the asylum the old fund boy three Terry Hall. Obviously nevill stables in that as well. So Horace pender win net breaking point. BLAM BLAM fever. Now they've covered this track before and I'm going to play after I go through this. So we're going to a Blam blam fever tank commandments, embarrassed by you, the life and times in breckets of a man called depression. And then we sell hope. So that is the preliminarily preliminary track listing for encore. Also,...

...if you get pre order in, the album is going to feature a best of specials alive. Now. There's loads of them kicking around. If you can absolutely get your hands on that. I play quite a bit of live special stuff off a the twenty five anniversary from the Coventry Gig, from a load of you know, quite a while ago. Obviously, twenty five. What was that? Seventy seven, ninety seven, two thousand and two, Oh, good mass me, good maths anyway. So we will stay tuned. No doubt we will get a few tasters in between now and Febry. The first off you tunes, but let's hear kind of their version of a Blam blam fever. Now I'm not entirely sure because this is in a this was released, look in the mid ninety. So this could be a Jerry Damon's Side Project Special Aka type stuff. So let's just play Blam blam fever and we'll make our own minds up. And once this is playing I'm going to do a bit of research. Anyway. This is the specials. They could you off the new album. The new album's got encore. This is a Blam blam fever. What is this in our don't get shot. Did you really? I'm a bit confused. The good fevers back. The fever rudiness and guns the top off this town. The good fevers back. You got fever every time the dinner or stars UN shot dead down against the walls. Fever seem listening lamb. What is this? Knowing the count fever you can know, by the way said his cap. Fever is bad. Fever rudiness is the top off this town. Then fever every time. Thenner, Star UN shot dead. Root can't go on to beat the bus. Blum, blum. What is it? You know? And a big fever is black in the top of this town. The fever is back every time star Mun shot day we gets the wall. See Blum, Bla. What is this? SNARIC's to see? Yeah, that is the specials. BLAM Blam. Favor was off covers album that the specials put together in two thousand actually, Roger Lomo said Just mastered the strange tennis new Album Millard militant style. He actually put all that together, got a lot of the band together. Terry Hall was on on it, but never stables. Was that a lead singer? So yeah, absolutely, Gray. I'm not really I didn't get I wasn't across that, to be honest. So there you go. Let's see basically the end of the first our. Please stay tuned. We...

...like to a little bit of fun in the Second Hour. Do a few covers. We'll do some strange stuff with the some punks, MOD whatever takes my fancy in the meantime, in the run up to the news, please stay tuned. This is one step beyond. Hey, you don't ustarts. Watch this. This is the heavy, heavy months to so the Nazis songs a row. So if you've come in off the street and you're beginning to feel the heat, well, listen for stuff. You better start to move your feet to the rookies, rook steady, Rollo shund talking about the real loustion sound. Don't steps on those armies shining about. PEOPLE gonna rise up and get up, people are gonna take take your baby, make her do...

...let's take your baby by the i's do the next thing that you feel and I dance. We were gold crazy, I take you. We were, we were played and she needs you and she needs you, need her, and she needs you, need her, and she needs you and you need her and she needs you. Graz that's a dance all days. Yeah, was that wing John Dance all days, think it was. That's a band...

...called Rubbert George at a New York set. Are they do? Lots of ads, covers, basically. How good? Are they? Very, very good. If you've not tuned into this show before, where have you been? It's the best guy show on the planet. Apparently, the greatest scars on the planet. Not the best, the greatest. You are listening to the scar show would beef every time. The second hour we kick off with a little section of cover songs, songs you wouldn't quite expect to hear on this little old scar show of mine, but every week I try and find some new, some interesting covers that people have done in a scar genre may not necessarily be scarre. Sometimes punk rock I like to feed in there. Doesn't necessarily have to have homes doesn't have to be off beat, just has to be different and a bit well, does have to be upbeat, and I'll beat really otherwise. It done really work for this show, does it? Course not. You're listening to me, beefy. It is my absolute pleasure to have you join me for this little scar show on this little station in the South East suburbs of Melbourne. Sun The FM, one of the best community radio stations in Australia. We broadcast to the world at wwwacom to day you or you can get some their FM on tune in. Also check out the facebook page for this show. The Sky Show would be for your the scarf so scar show on some their firm. I put all the playlists up there. So if you miss the tune or if I didn't back announce, because I get a little bit carried away and I forget to tell people what the songs are, who the bands are and all sorts. So you can jump on the playlist. They're all there. There is a replay of the show as well. So if you're looking for something to do in you know you want a little sky playlist to take you through the afternoon while you're at work. You can work that on. It's all good. I'm pretty sure the shows on Itunes as well. So if you look up the sky show would be for you. You can subscribe to Itunes. I've put some every now and I put some content up there. If I go to a GIG I'll probably go facebook live, facebook lay lave lad probably something like that along those lines. I don't know, but I'll put some video up there, bands I've seen and anything else that's pretty interesting. I try and wake up there when I get time. Anyway, we'll keep going with a music for now because basically everyone out there doesn't want to heal hear me whittling on about APP solute rubbish. Talk about absolute rubbish. Taylor swift was in Melbourne on this weekend. Sold that a couple of gigs. I think I might have been a one off. I don't know, I'm not there interested. Anyway, I thought, why don't we do a skart cover? This is a band that called party like it's dot dot dot, and this is probably the only song I know Taylor Swift. Shake it off, but in a way it should have been done in the first place. That's right. Anyway, it's the only time I'm going to play Taylor swift on the radio. People, people say my face and they don't say. They don't say, they don't, they don't know. Get out the lives of the world.

You couldn't getting down to this. She was came around like she was show me what it was to cry. But you could be that girl. Don't, don't, but I don't know. So I guess for to dynas right. I should have she wrop beneath my ways he could. That goes off...

...complete control. Smoke in the kitchen. Keeping my eyes. We gonna Alla Welfaes data together, move down with the big city kids and a silver spoon hanging from their mouth like a sprit gets that gifts up. So a yeah, Luke Goo wood, the one three ones. That was off their original...

...ep that is called kids in La and the old Luke Yo would on the three ones. I've got a GIG coming up in November. Sixteen stay gold. That's the name of the venue, stay golds, and new one, one hundred and three and three a Sydney row Brunze Wick. I'm not sure they're playing with but get tickets, jump one on facebook page and look up the GIG. They're releasing a new single called northbound and that's what this Gig is supporting. Very, very good live band. By the way, Lukyo would absolutely brilliant. I'm a big fan of his. Trying to get luke on the show. We're trying to fit in schedule, so get luke in over chat about half we records, his record label and recording studio and the three ones and his own stuff and what he's doing and everything else. That'll be an absolute pleasure. What else do we here? Oh yes, the mighty maggots. Yep, that's a scar show with beefy. Debut for the mighty Maggots, doing not only in brutally is turn. We had to go all the way to Austria to get an Australian cover. They're from Gratz in Austria and I'm going to check out some more of this stuff because I like what they've done with the old natalie and brewed lea's torn they're quite useful indeed. So we're we'll be checking out more of the mighty maggots, Austria's finest. By all accounts they must be. If I played any other Austrian bands. I have to look up my records and see if we've got any other Austrian bands. And then before that party like it's doing Taylor Swiss. Shake it off. You are listening to this cash show with me. beefy live on a Thursday afternoon, and live on a Thursday afternoon means we are one step closer to the weekend, one step closer to freedom for another couple of days. Of course it is. You can hang out with your friends. Course you can well tell you he's he's been hanging out with a friends. The bast still preachers are at Brighton in England. They're going a new album at called Governor Gotrat. See. It's awesome, by the way. Please, please, please, get it. But they're currently on tour with interrupters, or they will be on tour with interrupters. Are Not quite sure whether it started yet, but it's very, very close. But this song they actually got amy interrupted in to do a bit of a joint project. This one is off the new album, but it is called choose my friends. It is absolutely superb. Go and get the album him. It is awesome. It really is one of the best Punky, kind of clash style CDs you will get yourself. It's I cannot, I cannot recommend it enough. Anyway. This is called choose my friends. I found my face exactly, but I can't face the morning because I've got Damon chasing me down. She said, let's do that when we break each other back to another night in silence. It was like your words away from me. Weeks, months to offer here. I still got your voice in my ear. It's keeping me on my kney. You ever? Had You? Ever? Had You? Ever been done by before you? Ever? Had You? Ever you ever wanted to say cry to it? Too many times I've been strung out glass...

...it along, it outside my eye, but with my mateship on my side, I can. I'll find you. Ever, have you? Ever? Had you ever been done by love before? Have you? Ever? Had You? Ever you ever wanted to say? All it takes is the leap of it takes is a leap of you know it's Never gonna don't drawing you in with give us cuse. We know you're nothing. fell takes destructive use. The more freak a Beginn I see the sun takes, the least gives you and you feel because we know you're not to feed. Said is the end. ruptors there with a leap of faith. Thought I'd just play that because obviously played bastil preachers would choose my friends, which is amy interrupted guested. On course she did. She's awesome, by the way. She really is awesome. What am I going to play? This one has just come into my mind. This is one of my favorites. It's probably about a year old. This is a newish band, death of gutap up. They've popped up around the UK. Another Essex Band, but this is an absolute belder. It's called Rickety old train. Do Love It. I do love it. Feel free to stank in your care, by the way, and I have a good dance, because it's well worth dance into this. This is death a guitarp up riggedy old train. Myself a wise man. Seems...

...like the people drive a queen wheel. You tell me, whe broke out...

...of my big CAP gun. Tell me where, hands, tell me where. where? See? Can you tell me where? Wise Acre, the best band ever to come out of Brisbane. Thank close pad of finger, the saints, any other band that come out of Brisbane? I can name them all. Just wish they reformed. Tim Harrison, please, please, please, get the band back together. I'm being serious. Where's the fung one that was called? I love Wiseacre, good friends of mine, very very good band. Love Them, Love Them. Are Very, very quality act, tight entertaining just the best value for money, because they were just you know, that local band that everyone enjoy going to see great crowds as well. It's have a massive following before that. Death of Guitar Pop out of Essex in England, Rickley old train, how good. That's a great tune in it. I had a wine couple of weeks ago about a band called general chaos out of the UK not giving me their world premiere for their new single. So Alex Preston said, beefy, I'll tell you what, I'll make a deal. Are you going to have our next World Premiere? So he sent me as tracks. So we are going to play. We are to be the first to play in the world general chaos's new tracks off their new EP which is coming out fairly shortly. I believe this song is called don't keep telling me. This is brand, brand new. Alex Preston, pretty sure general cares at a leftter. Very, very sad news out of lesser this week. So all the best to ever UN over there in tiger land, foxes land. Shouldn't say tiger L and his foxes land. Sorry, God, I'm bad. So this is the brand new one off there looking for trouble EP, which is out very, very soon. Please look up nial chaos on facebook. This is don't keep telling me, don't...

...keep telling me what to do. Keep tell what to do, tell me, keep telling me what litill. What wrong cat, my big mom, I've been choice and I got him my voice and make you believe it, for I've never your philosophy and covering to the baby about it. I can, but I can chase my instinct. Gonna go away. How awesome is...

...that tune? I love it, absolutely love it. That's another band from Leicester and I thoughts and wishes go out to the community of Lester. The obviously a big tragedy in Lester with the owner of Leicester C football club. I have an alicopter crash straight after the game, which is not great because that football club and the road club there as well mean a lot to that community and when they won the Premier League for couple of years ago against all odds, five thousand and one, it was basically down to the fact that the tie owner put so much money in the club and believed in it and everything donated masses a message of money to local charities and hospitals and schools and all sorts over there as well. So yeah, massive, massive shame that that has happened over there. And I thought obviously two people in Indonesia and Thailand about the plane crash just today. So that's no good easy and we can't have this down, down, down view on life. Anyway, thank you for joining me. We come to the end of another show. Unfortunately, just go so quick. Thanks for listening, thanks for being part of it. Just get out, support your local scar band, support your local live music scene. Coming up after the news is Greg we've rocked down. I've been beefy. Please check us out on facebook. The scar show with beefy o the scar show and Sudden FM. Thanks for joining us. It is always my pleasure. Send me a big hello on facebook. If you're in a band, send me a music as well. General chaos do lots of bands on this show send me their music and I love to play them. In the meantime, I'm going I'm not going to go out with Suebi George this week. We're going to go out with light year. I got a feeling name may well be from Leicester as well, but I need to be checked that. I should have checked that earlier. Anyway, this is one of my all time favorites, called hack off dogs. I'll been beefy up room away most stand by me in a stand by world. Will you stand by me? Oh Yeah, look, look looking about to fall apart. Yes, I'm even and see Handy wimbubbles eye dog by thinking, about to fall apart. Yes, I'm even empty handy with my bulls eye dots. Well, look me, look at me, look at me, about...

...to fall apart. Yes, I'm even empty handed with my bulls eye dots. Daughter, daughter, dog, daughter do, daughter don't co.
